Boy, I'll tell you what.... As a real trucker, I can't wait to get my hands on this game. At first I was just going to build my pc and get the whole triple monitor/TV set up with the steering wheel and all but then I've finally realized, I can just use my alienware 17 r5 and start one of my tv's and do the darn thing. I literally want to know how real it is, when it comes to expenditures, rate's to overhead, mpg's based of weight one hauls ect ect. And that is one major thing in real trucking as a owner op, you HAVE to know what your total overhead cost is to know what is the bare minimum rate you can haul.
Well in terms of gameplay I think what you have will get you started and will play well... As for the other part, well it is not as real as you'ld want it as far as expenditure and overhead goes but the company reponsible for the game are making positive strides towards that so I guess this will be a reality in the future. But, it is still worth playing nonetheless. As for mpg's based of weight one hauls ect ect, well this for me actually feels quite real based on the weight of the haul and the engine and transmission used to haul. Some trucks will actually struggle to haul certain cargo and the game will even warn you that your engine does not fit the bill lol. In terms of trucking, it is the best game I have played and much more is coming to the game, so I'd say it is worth entering into the space as a gamer
@TartlezGamer I appreciate the feedback and info. I'm definitely not new to gaming as I'm a 80's baby and gaming consoles started coming out in my generation and have always played fps games but as of lately ive been really getting into sim games and obviously love them, nonetheless, I've procrastinated enough on getting this game, it's time to take action. Again, I appreciate your input! 100
@@rafaelcadena44 No problem bud, SCS Software games (ATS & ETS2) are actually growing in popularity and also in terms of playability. And it is more enjoyable just moving from real-life trucking into virtual trucking where you feel as if you never left your real life truck lol especially if you have a steering wheel setup
Bought this on my laptop a few years ago and couldn’t run it. Just finished my pc build and hooked up to my tv and play it. Also a real driver. You start off as a company driver. Once you get a truck, you have to pay for fuel and repairs out of pocket. The loads pay a lot but you can get a mod for realistic economy.

Thanks for sharing these awesome mods. I'm definitely going to have to checkout the logging roads expansion
No problem bud, that is a must have as it has so many features to explore and it makes it more immersive when it comes to owning a home/garage
I am quite new and thanks for your guide. I only want to have always daytime drive mode in ATS, no night drive, how can I set that?
Hey bud, the only way to have daytime drives only is to sleep and take very early morning jobs...The game cannot be changed to only have daytime only
Nice❤. Tuned in
Thanks brother
