Lol 500 salmon only 365 days in the year ya right got to feed your sled dogs and the extended family I get it Alaska has to calm the fuck down its not the wild west anymore nobody need 500 salmon a year nobody
I use the fan, at first to develop the pelical. Then it comes on only when I was to dry the fish. This way makes for a moist smoked salmon. Perfect for canning. If I want to do strips, or jerky'type salmon, I leave the fan on.
@@sidetrackmetalworks2058 gotcha! Thanks man! I have just a small smoker here where I live (Wisconsin) and I've never seen that before. Very cool info!
Im drooling 🤤
Lovely, reminds me of my Scottish Highlands, I now spend my final years in Argentina with my Argentinian wife. Many thanks for sharing.
Very cool add a cup of dark rum to your brine it makes the fish taste better
And you get to drink the rest of the rum

Lol 30 per house hold for 1 person
@@mikehewitt2146what’s the point of a fish wheel for 30 per person? You could catch that in a day with a dip net, I guess maybe for a whole community?
@@sidetrackmetalworks2058 What are the rules concerning fish wheels? I'm guessing they don't just let anyone do this kind of thing.
Wearing gum boots over the River, what possibly could go wrong !
Atleast they are not waders!
The fan is running during smoking???
