S. H. Figuarts is great given that we aren't waiting a year for pre-orders and the quality is amazing for the scale. I'm trying not to buy every figure again but FOMO is rising...
One of the best and most none bias reviews I’ve seen of this figure, the quality finish and the amount of accessories you get with this fig really makes up for the gripes , really don’t deserve all the hate just because you have to have a bit of patients while handling it 👌🏽

I think SH Figuarts have done a really good job with the sculpting and detailing on this figure, because the armor looks absolutely awesome! But Hasbro is doing an excellent job with their Black series figures too as the headsculpts look fantastic for 1/12th scale. Wish they nail it with the Marvel legends figures as well.

If you put blue tack on his neck it’ll raise the helmet and still allow for articulation. Looks amazing, check on The Fwooshs review on this to see what it looks like when you do that.
I wish he had a stand to make him flying. I really wanted an action pose with him flying using the flamethrower and missiles while the child stares up at the fire
Damn... with these geared up figures, this company has really started to bring it... I went from kinda laughing at S.H. Figuarts to NEEDING this one and the Mk.1 Iron Man LOL
SH.Figuarts have had a few misses this year. The 89 Batman being the biggest culprit and the Child “baby Yoda”. The Iron Man Mk.1 is excellent and the Ig-11 is quite good. This is stuffed to the gills with accessories but let down slightly by the proportions and engineering, which is where I think the Mafex version looks superior. Hope the accessories from this SHF scale well with the Mafex.
I have S.H.Figuarts Mando in both OG and Beskar armour. Both the long rifle and handgun have different paint deco from the two sets. As for the "clean look", I use tamiya weathering master on all my S.H.Figuarts. It makes the figure much more realistic.
All I can say Justin is, " THAT IS THE WAY. " I like it. Hell I like anything Star Wars with one exception...... JAR JAR BINKS. Great figure, cool review as always. Kind regards Rikki 🤘
I painted the right knee pad chrome gray but I bought two so I can have all silver and the other one I had some brown paint for dirt because he falls and gets dirty a lot
I agree with you about people complaining a lot, the figure is not stressful, I suppose they got tired because reviewers try to speedrun every time they have to put the accessories on, but being realistic we are not going to do that
I replaced the head using a custom head from johnwalker customs as the original is a bit small. I used blue tack and made sure the head is raised enough to look like he has a neck. Overall I think it’s truly a better fit. Still getting the Mafex version
Hey Justin! Really cool that you’re getting into 1/12 stuff. I’d recommend the Mafex 2.0 Dark Knight Joker, (make sure it’s the 2.0) and the comic book spiderman. If you’re more connected to movie looks, their homecoming spiderman is also a great figure. Figuarts for me has been really good with their iron man stuff, like the mark 50 or mark 7. I also recently got the ww84 Wonder Woman, if you’re into really good likenesses that figure is great. Their first few tries with the other Wonder Woman appearances weren’t so great. Black series has a lot of releases that rival even figuarts or Mafex, like their recent Cad Bane, which is incredibly done. I could go on, but I’ll let you pick up what you wish!

I collect mostly Hasbro Black series but this SH Figuart really caught my eyes with how sharp the details are and that shiny bescar armour. I love the Mandalorian TV series! This cost more than 3 times the price of the Black series (of course it has better detailing and more accessories), is it worth it?
@@JustinsCollection I managed to secure one at $110 with a Grogu (+ pram & accessories) thrown in! I was considering the Mafex too but I think the SH Firuart one has shinier chrome-like armour.
That little piece on gun to attach the straps might be little frustrating but it's fine for me cause in shf JL Batman's grapple gun there is a little piece without the grapples and one with the grapples and I lost that part but thankfully there is still a grapple piece on its grapple gun.
I totally agree with everything u said about overlooking some of the over engineered stuff coz honestly it’s nothing much. Most of the hate and complain is from the western region. Most of the Asian love it like me ! Majority of the complain is coz the figure is pricey therefore shouldn’t go through extra few steps to put up the accessories plus it’s not a single box with few pair of hands and single weapon like boba fett so I’ll say you get the bang for your buck. Minor complain is same as the strap and the cape but other than that it’s fine. It baffles me when people say the black series towers over the shf version when the wrinkles is overly done and black series helmet visor is too thin. I love mando so much I might even get the first episode armour version even tho it’s the same figure with less accessories but I like the colours on the figure.
When I swapped out the cape for a custom one I LITERALLY almost had a heart attack. Had to take the chest plate and head off. It worked out great but man it scared me
If I were you I'd cut a slit through the cape where the jetpack pegs into the back. As the jetpack is magnetized to his back plate, he wears it over the cape. The cape isn't to the side.

Damn BBTS really screwed me over on this one!! I pre-ordered the day they were up a while back, then when I received it it was the first version not the beskar that the preorder was for.!!!😤 Then on top of that it was hiked up to 199$$ and sold out anyway!!! Just sad to think the guarantee that when you preorder something from BBTS is non existent. The customer service used to be great but just awful service now. They were beyond unprofessional when I tried to understand why I got a completely different item and then the actual item I pre-ordered was 3 times the price I pre-ordered it for!!!! Beware of BBTS!!!

I ended up replacing the ball peg in the neck with a longer one and it fixed it wonderfully but also waiting on my mafex as well.
