Hi Shermi, generally January is the best period I think. It is the time most cars are refreshed. Also January and July/August are the end period of the old number plates. So new number plates will be coming in shortly and any cars they have already got registration or paid for , they want to move. May be even December for end of year sales targets to be met by some companies.

Depends on your needs Tito Thomas. In my opinion, buying a house is a priority. So if you have not bought a home yet, best to save for the home and get a cheaper 2nd hand car.

Yes Sharanyha lot of loan options are there for second hand cars. But PCP and PCH won't be there. Also many manufacturers give their own cars as Manufacturer approved used cars with warranty, service and loan options. I had once bought my car from Renault in that way.

Hi sir pls give an idea about buying second hand cars in UK and car insurance details.
There are 3 options Aishwarya, one is to buy from manufacturer direct , manufacturer approved vehicles sold as second hand. I had once bought from Renault and was very happy with the price and plus they give extended warranty and service cover. Another option is to buy from large retailer groups like Cargiant. You don't some benefits because they have checked the vehicle for faults and provide their assurance. Third is to buy from Individuals or local garages . You can probably get it a little bit cheaper and haggle a lot . But there might be problems in car's history and some faults may not be visible till a few days later.

Unlike some other countries, most dependent spouses can work in UK Charanya. There are no restrictions. I know a lot of spouses of people coming through indian software companies work in schools and even other IT companies here.

You might at least need to pay the first month EMI. But there are zero downpayment options available. Plus if you just want a car, you can get a second hand car for cheap. I bought my first car for around 1000 £ and you can get that amount in a personal loan too.
