I did 141.8 with a prefab Qbomb box with 2 Fosgate p3s 12s on a R2.1200.1 in a 2014 Jeep compass on the windshield.
It is cleaner than a lot of systems I’ve seen on YT!

I have been intk various audio since I was 18.. I'm 40...I was lucky enough to get my hands on 1 of these ( im in MA there just not out here) Gatley boxes for a set of my B2 Rage XLs , incredible. I put in the old RF T2s just to see... OMG 😲 Night and day ridiculousness. I swear by these boxes now....
DC and DD subs/amp are the best IMO.

The jump from level 3 to 4 must be where the quality goes up. My buddy bought a level 3 15 and a gately box for it. Put a skar sk2500 to it and smoked it. Lol. The sub was fine but ive never seen that much smoke come out if a box. It definitely didn't like more than rated power. He ended going with a sundown uv2 15 due to the enclosure size. It was disappointing to say the least but it wasn't the subs fault. We just assumed it could handle more than rated like most subs. We were wrong. Lol
does "legal" allow for you to turn the enclosure around? Because I've noticed when subs are facing the driver's seat in a trunk build, if can have a tight seal around the box, the highest dB numbers are produced.
Sooo... A plexiglass box next? By Gately of course! I'm super jealous Big D has one. I've always wanted one, but the price is just not realistic. Either way, that's really impressive for two 10s. I saw your Instagram post earlier, so I was pretty delighted to see a video.
The price for an acrylic box is justified. The cost alone for materials is expensive. Then the work that goes into them.

I would imagine because the trunk of the Civic is smaller than the wide open jeep back end. More area for the sound waves to reflect off of at a shorter distance.

Sweet bass action brother that's killer I've never seen 2-10" do a 151 before. Scores aren't everything in car audio there's much more to it then just stressing out and worrying about score dB
I need one like that for my 2017 civic sedan, but I would front fire and seal it from the trunk..
With that amount of power and that size box, you could be causing port compression. Beyond a certain port velocity, you can add a lot of power and not really see a difference in the score.

LOL I found your channel on a fluke and I have 4 XL 10's in a Gately Custom Box & 2 DC 3.5K's that I haven't hooked up. Now I'm thinking the 3.5K's aren't enough haha. But I'm not competing, just like loud music so I hope it will be ok.

151 on two 10s usually it takes 2 12s to do that
Hey bro I hope you see this. I saw this video a while ago and was wondering what size box you went with for those 2 10s from Bobby? He offers a few different sizes and I was thinking of going with 12s but these 10s I think are loud enough for what I'm trying to do. Plus the box fits alot better letting the air flow. I have an Altima and my trunk is about the same as yours, back seats down, etc. So what cubes is this box? Thanks for any help bro! Might message ya on facebook if I dont hear back from you :)

How can I get 150 db with a under the seat enclosure in a f150? 3.5 inch seat lift. Can fit 12’s but only have about 2.5 cubic feet of air space.

Still more efficient then what i am doing. I am on my 4th enclosure and can't figure it out. 2 db312 on the DeafBonce AAk 11800.1 I started at 142db at around 4.5k I am now at 148 at 4,990w
Just get any sub and put it in a recommended sealed closure and turn off all bass boost from any amps, crossovers, signal processors and radio. Do a sweep from 20-80 hz on low, medium and high volume. Where ever you’re the loudest is the turning frequency of the vehicle. Last step is to tune your box and port to that hz.
Make sure your sub is happy in a 4th order.
Check voltage
Barrow subs and test them in what you have.
Check your rca single quality
Swap amps
Meter current draw
Swap radio
Swap single processors
I'm thinking about putting 4 DC 10' s on a 5k. In a 2001 Nissan Sentra. Would level 3 or 4 work better?

Yeah it's far from a prefab box bro....he builds those boxes different boxes with different dimensions etc and sales them...he also tests some subs like DC, b2 audio, to see if they are going to sound good for the box.... yeah by them being sold like that ready to order I guess that's why you are calling it a prefab...q bomb ground shaker are prefab boxes bro.... I would buy a box from him anyday... proven performance sounds good....

I have a question I just purchased a 29AH SCIB bank from NORTHWEST LITHIUM I'm waiting for it to come in but it says on the website that it is rated for 15k but I keep thinking about it being only 29AH I've never ran anything bigger than the CXA 1800.1 currently in my trunk but I am really serious about getting into competitive audio hence the reason I just upgraded the alternator, voltage control module, second wiring kit and SCIB bank actually still waiting for the SCIB to come in but I was wondering if the caps will make a difference in any way other than minimizing the voltage fluctuation I'm looking for a good 8k right now and a set of 15's but I want to make sure that my power supply is top notch before upgrading currently looking at a 1000 farad Maxwell cap on Amazon for 490 before getting the alternator and SCIB I was running the ioxus ultra cap with a jag35 74AH Lev60 pro V2 and was super impressed with the performance of the ioxus and how much harder it made my subs hit but like I said I have never ran anything big so I don't really know what to expect

Have the gately audio dual 12 4.0 and absolutely hate it. Says it's tuned to 32hz but it's tuned way higher around 37hz now I have to end up getting a new enclosure built by someone else smh if you want spl that's the box for you
So how have you determined it’s tuned at 37? I don’t have this issue with the dual 12 enclosures I’ve tested for him.
@@JeepAndBass I took it to a shop here in NYC and they plugged in the numbers did the calculations and it ended up being 37hz. Then just to be sure they used the SMD IM-SG and it was around 36 to 37hz. The port width is 4 inches then where the L makes the turn its half inch wider at 4.5 inches.
35x18x18.5 kerf port 4 inches wide 16.50 high Port length is 22 inches.

What head unit are you running? My Girl has the same car and a shitty stock head unit. What do you recommend?
Edit: she has a 2020 Honda Civic and the head unit is extremely small.
Many brands out there but a pioneer. You cant go wrong trust me.

30 to 35 htz is what most bass heads listen at...45 to 50 is not giving me the low,lows.

Depends on your goals, for daily music you probably are better off with lithium. Caps are good to add onto lithium or AGM. But you cant mix AGM and lithium.
@@JeepAndBass some companies claim that you can run an agm with the lithium batteries they sell is that bs? Or are there certain types of lithium to work with agm batteries?
I personally haven’t used lithium enough to give you a good answer. I’m sure there are specific brands that are compatible. My understanding is that normally you shouldn’t mix them. I’d definitely do more research on the specific brand before buying or try to contact them. Also there are several lithium Facebook groups that you could join to ask those questions.

Gately audio needs to make custom boxes, specific to a vehicle for space savings, mold them to the body of the car, those big bulky boxes just waste space, then and only then should they charge such high prices.
Or maybe you just start your on business and see how that works out for you 😁
@@JeepAndBass my complaint is for the price they are asking for those ugly bulky boxes, they should be vehicle specific, space saving and neat. JL Audio does premade vehicle specific, expensive but they are space saving. MAYBE YOU SHOULD DEFEND THEM FOR EVERY VIDEO I POSTED MY OPINION ABOUT THEIR EXAGGERATED PRICES!
