i have 4 DC Audio 10’s with a 3.5 k WATT amp that i wanted to put in my acura Tl 2010.. the guy at the audio store told me all i needed was 2 and that’s still overkill… i believe him now 😂😂😂😂
I had a audiopipe txx-bdc4-12 Ina ground shaker 30hz box and that was enough for my tl ripped the thing apart until the sub died.
My brotha from another mother. I've got a BRZ, screw weight reduction in these street cars. Nothing like 100 lbs of audio equipment in the rear.

@@JeepAndBass Excellent. I need to get the magnetic quick release speaker terminals from SMD, to remove the sub enclosures, but I have the amp rack where the spare tire was, so unfortunately, that's permanent.
j slack Ya that’s why I mounted the amp to the enclosure. I only pull rca cables a remote and the power wires. And undo a few floor bolts and the whole thing comes out. I used wire ferrules so the wires won’t fray.

Great video!!! 👌👌👌 It sounds pretty damn good bro for only being two ten's and for just being a temporary setup!!! I personally would have gone with some DC 12" SUB'S but then again that's just me!!! I have ran both 10" and 12" subs and you do notice a difference between the two!!! In this case with out you showing people what you have inside your trunk they would probably think you have 12" SUBS or probably something even bigger than that as good as it sounds!!! Your setup is probably the loudest 10" SUB setup I have seen on TH-cam, but then again I could be wrong!!! I would have to do a search on TH-cam to see if that's the case!!! Once again great video keep them coming!!! 👍👍👍

This is real impressive, I'm currently undergoing a 2 10's build for my 2012 accord coupe that I'm looking to break a 150 with. I'm about to get 2 custom 10's. Dss ethos motors, nightshade coils, zv5 baskets, spl cones, spl surrounds, 4ga push terminals, double xl leads and carbon fiber caps. In a trunk wall tuned to 32hz. Going to run them off 2 taramps smart 3's. Coming for that 150 and I'm coming in hot 🔥

That's some SERIOUS FLEX between the sunroof and windshield! Definitely bangs at nearly 150!! I have more of a SQL setup in my Civic and it metered at 142.6 with a single 13w7 @ 40 Hz. I couldn't imagine a 150.... yeesh!
Minimal a 1,000 watts rms . They hit real hard ! I run american bass myself but these two tens hit harder than my two 12’s ! Dc is no joke

i need to post up my two skar audio EVL 10s in a custom 4th order box paired with two taramps 3k amps for a total of 6k watts. This is about what it looked like when i was sharing my 3k amp to both subs before upgrading lol

dc 10s are insane. for the money i got quantum audio x series dvc 10s. 11inch with the cone, still has a huge ass magnet goes to 28-35 hz 120 db does the 150 for 40 hz

I built a box that looks much like that in 2017. . I used a couple programs I found online to design it. I used mdf a cheap Walmart amp and 2 fosgate 10s.
In my 05 Altima it hit 129.2. It made the sunroof jump when closed. I bet that Honda slams

Did you use a lc2i and connected after the factory amp in the passenger kick? I'm doing this next as I just replaced all factory speakers with Scar audio's best components with sound deadening everywhere and sounds awesome.
XTRM BRAZEN I used the lc2i but connected it at the factory subwoofer in the back.

How the hell do you keep that sunroof light ect panel to stay in.im on my second one for my 20 altima sr.And I had to cut the headliner around it to get it out.lol crazy glued the first one.my dc level 6 15 with corey dean re cone tortures my car.Your lucky af your sunroof panel center is legit solid and stays in place.

CarAudioJoe There is absolutely nothing wrong with mounting to solid enclosures. It’s when people buy cheap prefabs or use too thin of wood there are issues.

question, should i put my sub facing out toward the trunk like this or the other way around for more bass. i own a sundown audio SA-12 with custom box. its currently facing me but was wondering if i should turn it around. and also how far from the latch should it be? would really help, thanks
Official DJ Zander Most if the time facing the trunk gets louder because the subs can utilize the trunk space kinda as another part of the enclosure. They will topically be able to play lower that way too. But not all setups are the same so you really just have to play with it and decide for yourself. I’d keep the subs between a foot and 6” away from the rear.
@Official DJ Zander exactly what he said ☝️🧐. I prefer to have mines facing the trunk because it also sounds much better. Facing forward can be louder, but the front of the box facing the cabin should be seal off from the trunk for best results.
