Tied into Wargames Illustrated 395's theme of Hit the Beach, we had the pleasure of visiting Alan Perry, one half of Perry Miniatures. After exploring the miniatures and scenery in his gaming room, we got him mic'd up to talk in detail about his Aboukir Bay British Invasion of Egypt board, as well as the huge number of miniatures he sculpted and painted for it.

I have watched a few interviews with the Perry brothers. They seem like a couple of cool guys. They turn out a amazing amount of high quality products. I started wargaming in the 1970s. I like the way Alan just says, I liked this book, so I made this diorama and a new line of models. What a treat it would be to hang out and watch them work, maybe paint a few models.
