    Great interview! There was a similar event to what happened to Michael here in Norway two years ago. Some days and events are marked by 21 shot cannon salutes. While some of these salutes are done by the national guard (I've done quite a few myself, noisy as hell), some historical societies do these on their own. They arent quite sure what happened, but it appears the blank detonated before the breach on the cannon was properly shut and one re-enactor lost his arm.

    What an incredible interview.
    It would be great, if you activate (if you can do it, i don´t really know how it works) the function for the automatic subtitles.
    For some of us, is quite hard to understand all the british and profesional slang they use here (even knowing that this auto subtitles use to fail more than a shotgun) and we will appreciate it so much.

    23:50 Bloody heathen. when I was a kid I loved the 1970's Ralph Bakshi animated LOTR, it wasn't perfect and the "ending" was kind of a paste-up because they decided not to make the second half, but I must have watched it twenty times. The Black Riders and the Orcs were in some ways creepier than in the movie, I think because the hobbits in the animated version are weak and fearful, where in the modern version they're a bit too fearless - the scene with the Watcher in the Water for example; exactly how does Frodo Baggins not poop his pants when he's about to be eaten by a giant octopus-human-skull monster? I mean, he's a hobbit; the scariest thing he's ever done in his life is scrumping apples.

    • @EntmootVideos
      @EntmootVideos  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Haha! To be fair the Bakshi animation IS iconic - and lots of its script and visuals are aped by Jackson throughout his trilogy.
      But to me there’s something too theatrical and silly to Gandalf in particular! The orcs were creepy that’s for sure!
      Thanks for watching ☺️

      I don’t know how you got that from their innocuous comment. From what they said off camera and from what I’ve heard from others, it seems there was a period in GW’s history where some of the iconic designers and writers didn’t like the direction the company was going and there was a bit of a cull of senior team members across the board
