Dear blind people or Wavers....I don't how to refer to you fine gentlemen, can you also check out the show "Generator Rex" it's made by the same crew that made Ben 10 and it's awesome.
If they watch it. Kind of like with Titans, I wouldn't be surprised if they're hesitant to watch AF if they find Ben 10 too frustrating by the end regardless of how good they've heard it is.
@@supernerdgavin They like Ben 10 but they often find Ben himself kind of frustrating, similar to how there were plenty of things about Titans they enjoyed but they didn't want to continue after season 2 because they found too many of the characters unlikable. That was the only point I was trying to make.
@@aros0018 the difference is you're supposed to find Ben frustrating because he's a ten year old who's learning and growing. It's the difference between frustration being the written intent vs being frustrated by bad writing, and the crew can tell that difference. They also said they'll watch AF already.
Man they seemed INTO this episode, so satisfying to see. The villain teamup and Master Control was the hypest shit as a kid, Eric's Avatar State comparison is pretty apt. Imagine they'll never be superfans but glad the show's hitting them a decent bit now.
Well this episode wasn't like a season finale or whatever so if you just.. know how shows work it's kinda obvious that he won't have the Master Control forever
Most of the Omnitrix issues come down to Ben not knowing how to use all its features. He only has the most basic understanding of it. He knows how to work the dial and transform into an alien form. That is about it. He has to wait for the Omnitrix time limit before he turn back to his original human form. As we seen in the first and second season finale’s that doesn’t have to be the case. Vilgax knows how to turn off the watch before it times out. Ben can switch between forms while in use. With the master control all the current limitations on the Omnitrix, time limit, needing to touch the controls, all alien forms unlocked and mis-transformations are removed. This episode essentially shows how powerful the Omnitrix wearer is when they know how to use all of it features. It shows us how powerful Ben can be in the future, he fought his two current strongest enemies, and also how dangerous Vilgax could be if he got the Omnitrix and mass produced it for his armies. He knows how to use the Omnitrix and likely could crack the master control. This episode reinforces everything we have heard about how powerful and useful the Omnitrix is while clearly showing us the faults we have now are clearly just because Ben wasn’t given instructions on how to use it and is stuck figuring this all out on his own. It also has two fan favorite villains of the classic series team up. We get to see what is inside the Null Void. This a fan favorite for a reason. Probably one of my favorite of Ben 10 classic.
This episode is packed with awesome moments. My favorite is how Vilgax broke out of the ice the second Kevin doubted his reputation as the most dangerous and feared being in the galaxy and punched him in the face for it.
@@Lightning63 Ben 10k's one of my favourites too. 2 weeks man. Its been 26 weeks, only two weeks more. Edit: Its actually next week yay. They're watching it in a different order.
A lot of people note that Ben’s “time for a little payback” seems to immediately undermine the growth his relationship with Gwen had this episode and to an extent this whole season. I personally feel that scene was a last minute addition When you consider the airing dates and time it takes to make a 22 minute cartoon (especially one that looks this good) you realize Season 2 would’ve had to been greenlit and well into production before the series even premiered. As such I feel this episode was made to be a potential series finale. It would fit we have Ben battling his two biggest enemies and said enemies end up trapped in another dimension with seemingly no way out. In addition we see the full power of the Omnitrix and all of Ben’s aliens up to this point (minus Ghostfreak) appear. Then we add on Ben willing to sacrifice the Omnitrix TWICE to ensure Gwen’s safety it really feels like the natural conclusion to Ben’s growth. All this to say I believe that the Grey Matter scene at the very end was only added when the crew found out they’d be getting a third season and wanted to ensure they could still have conflicts between Ben and Gwen in later episodes.
I hope they watch the "Secret of the Omnitrix" movie, it was my favorite as a kid. Like that one's canon obviously so I feel like it's required viewing at the end of this series, even if they don't move on to AF. Also, looked at the episode list, next week is gonna be fun, at least 1000 times more fun
WELLL just figured out they do production order, so maybe the movie is high on the radar, but correction TWO weeks from now is gonna be 1000 times more fun

I recently rewatched Ben 10 all the way up to the end of Ultimate Alien and this episode stayed as my favourite from when I saw it until the very end. Such an amazing finale
The closest feeling I can think of is when you've had a super sticky tape onto your skin for a long time and you peel it off slowly, but multiply that feeling by 10. That's what I imagined that removal of the Omnitrix must've felt
This was an episode that stuck with me since I first saw it. So baddass seeing fast transformations between aliens and two epic villains team up to take out their enemy. Ben jumping across those creatures while avoiding Kevin and Villgax is so fucking sick dude. There's still a few epic moments and favorite episodes yet I'm looking forward for them to see; Like more Gwen focused plots and new Omnitrix discoveries to make.
When Aaron said "maybe there's a city in the ship" and Calvin said "Why did it explosively decompress?", I thought of the Cloud City window that broke in Vader's duel with Luke.
This is the episode where we first see Ben's insane potential. Ben had master control for a day, and wad masterfully swapping aliens on reflex, he changes and acts, with little to no thought. Then we see his insane physical prowess even as normal ben. Then, later in alien force and ultimate alien, we find out ben has an eidetic memory and is a master in martial arts.
PLEASE YOU GUYS WOULD LOVE THE SEQUEL SERIES, Alien force, Ultimate alien, and even Omniverse, in that order and with each iteration there’s more lore expanded on, This is a VERY rewarding and fun show to watch evolve
This might be the best episode in the entire original series. Kevin returns with a vengeance, and he brings the last person you’d ever expect with Vilgax. It’s a team up that’s as awesome as it is terrifying. Vilgax not only somehow survived the vacuum of space, but he’s been doing it for weeks and presumably a month at most. That and he’s had no food or water. The moment he thaws out he immediately choses violence and doesn’t seem to be weakened in the slightest. Now that’s how you make a main villain absolutely terrifying. Kevin does a better job than you would expect in a fight with Vilgax, but octopus Frieza is quite observant when he sees all of Ben’s aliens on Kevin’s body. Thus, an uneasy alliance is born. It doesn’t last the whole episode because of course Kevin gets greedy. While it’s never outright confirmed I think this experience teaches Vilgax how to handle all future alliances. Betray them before they betray you. The master control might seem like deus ex machina, but considering the scale of the threat it’s more than justified. Beating Kevin with one transformation is doable, but Vilgax tips the scales significantly. If Ben didn’t have access to it then the show would’ve been over right there. It gives a chance for some really creative action that shows just how far Ben has come since he first began. That scene where the Omnitrix is torn from his wrist is so painful to watch. It’s like his skin melts itself off the watch. But in the end Ben’s heroic sacrifice pays off but at the cost of the master control, at least for now. Vilgax and Kevin are trapped in the Null Void, the only place that could keep his two most dangerous enemies out of the game. In fact I think this is the last time we see our main Kevin until Alien Force. I know Vilgax has 3 more appearances and the movie but his episodes are an alternate timeline, a dream, and a non-canon episode. At least he gets the movie which I hope they watch after completing season 4. Well we're halfway through the original series. Season 3 is up next and I think it might be the best season over the original season. That main plot is still amazing and I can’t wait for them to see it unfold.
If anybody is wondering how Vilgax ended up in space accoridng to pop up trivia Vilgax attempted to use his teleporter as his ship was exploding causing the coordinates to misfire and sending him into deep space. While Kevin took control of Slik Vigma’s ship after he defeated Technorg (it’s never been clarified if Technorg managed to escape or if Kevin killed him) Also Phil is still in the Null Void but thousands of miles away from where the battle took place
rewatching this is so much fun realizing how vilgax really outclasses Kevin lmao, from the jumping down to the barge like a badass, no selling ben aliens attacks, control over the omnitrix, and intelligence, its great lol
To finally put to rest whether or not Ben still has access to Ghostfreak, at 12:41 it cycles through all of his aliens, including new additions Cannonbolt and Wildvine, but Ghostfreak is notably absent.
Oh this finale had me so hyped , 2 of Ben’s biggest enemies teaming up & actually succeeding had me worried. Master control is also a great function to introduce here it shows how skilled & flexible of a fighter Ben is. Thinking of what alien to use & how to use them in a matter of seconds is incredibly impressive especially since he’s just 10
8:59 Feels like a moment in God Of War when you have to mash buttons when Kratos is jumping around beating up Greek/Norse gods, probably my favorite scene in the whole series.
The fact that 2 of Ben's greatest foes return, Vilgax and Kevin, makes one the best episodes of season 2. If Ben could barely beat both of them individually, how was he going to handle both of them at the same time? The master control was one of my favorite aspects of this episode. Being able to switch between aliens without a time limit, seemed like it could be useful. When Max brought back the Null Void projector, you knew what was going to go down. He knew the perfect way to handle Vilgax and Kevin. (Considering that Max and Vilgax have fought before, it only makes sense.)
@The Weavile ah never thought about that, really my only though with it was that Vilgax was just in space like I know his ship blew up but did that really send him out into space and into some asteroid belt. Like I guess it did but still dang
Oh, I forgot this is when Ben crack the code on the Omnitrix and was able to become the aliens at will. Good time, still waiting on the Christmas Episode.

1 season closer to the movie, I cant wait for their reaction of it.
Best Ben 10 finale yet! Vilgax & Kevin teaming up such great fights throughout
I will never get bored of the zoom ins on Rick's reactions 😂😂
Ben unlocking the Omnitrix Master Control really is an interesting episode, indeed~
This is probably one of my all time favourite episodes of Ben 10 ever, absolutely amazing story and animation
The most OP element of the omnitrix, I would have it forever if I had the chance
Ben fighting his two strongest villains inside the freaking null void is one hell of a season finale
I couldnt tell if it was Eric or Aaron but that scream into the the reaction could be a modern day wilhelm scream lmao
My excitement is on a high level now. So the next episode better not be 'Midnight Madness' 😶🥺
I think it is
@@Orion_44 they aren’t doing full production order from what I can tell so hopefully not
they start next season with ben 10k, if you ever want to see what episodes they watch in the future just check on their website.
This was the best season finale ever
3:03
Now that he mentions it
Im sure the sound is just for the audience
And the light isnt that noticeable during the daylight
6:27 Away From Your Tea Time Bickering, Ladies! 😂
To answer Calvin’s question about why the room Kevin and vilgax were in explosively decomposed
Bespin Cloud City, Luke Vs Vader.
14:43 next week (or 3 weeks ago on patreon) Ben 10,000: hey
The fact that 2 of Ben's greatest foes return, Vilgax and Kevin, makes one the best episodes of season 2. If Ben could barely beat both of them individually, how was he going to handle both of them at the same time?
The master control was one of my favorite aspects of this episode. Being able to switch between aliens without a time limit, seemed like it could be useful.
When Max brought back the Null Void projector, you knew what was going to go down. He knew the perfect way to handle Vilgax and Kevin. (Considering that Max and Vilgax have fought before, it only makes sense.)
Calvin must have gift of Apollo with all these prophecies
I always thought this episode took place after the movie and that's why Kevin found Vilgax in space
@The Weavile ah never thought about that, really my only though with it was that Vilgax was just in space like I know his ship blew up but did that really send him out into space and into some asteroid belt. Like I guess it did but still dang
Another amazing video
Cannot wait for them to see how cool next episode is
The Null Void Is Like The Shadow Realm 😮
Oh, I forgot this is when Ben crack the code on the Omnitrix and was able to become the aliens at will. Good time, still waiting on the Christmas Episode.
master control is still as cool now as the first moments we see it
Finally the master control episode ben just activated the master control mode of the omniterx
I can’t wait for next week
Their discussion in the end can be answered by watching the whole main continuity timeline
One of my favourite episodes.
Guys you guys should watch series till Ben 10 Omniverse
You're gonna know way more about what happened to Kevin in that place when you reach Ben 10 Omniverse.
In ultimate alien not omniverse
@@confidential9692
Omniverse is the one with the real secret information. Did you watch that episode?
@@jeannguyen3199 omniverse sucked for me,so i didn't watch it
@@confidential9692
I didn't like that they revealed some of the informations from Alien Force was faked. But the show's cannon, so I have to watch it.
Omniverse is a solid show overall, but the Kevin retcons were kinda dumb tbh.
17:04 the game rick is talking about is called dark void
