For a long time I thought that MOOD was just a one-trick granular-youtube pedal, but this manual really shows how vastly versatile it is. Even with just the wet channel you get an incredibly varied verb/delay/modulation machine!
You have a point, but Behringer also makes pretty decent stuff with a price point that’s probably 1/5 what chase bliss pedals cost. I am a regular dude. I LOVE effect pedals. Especially delay based ones. Chase Bliss blow the competition away when it comes to delay pedals. But I know I’ll probably never get to own one. And that can be a bummer. Mind you, they deserve every penny of it. But it is very much so out of a lot of musicians price range.

Hey y'all, love the video! Just bought my Mood MK2. Can't wait. Quick question - what brand cables do you use in the video and where can I buy them? Thanks!
I love this but, I have a red panda tensor so I dont need a micro looper, a meris lvx so dont need delay, a gen loss mk2 so that covers all tape needs, and a zoia for crazy stuff. However, I still want an OUTWARD V2 but as a chase bliss pedal, and a really nice reverb pedal with a nice spacey reverb. Yes the Zoia can do crazy granular delays, but reverb? Meh.
Hold on a second... I haven't kept up with Chase Bliss (or many pedal companies) in about 2 years now. Did this guy say _STEREO??_ Did I hear that right? I remember when that word needed a trigger warning before use around Chase Bliss personnel. Nice!

Quick question: are the deep switches (and hidden options) saved in the presets? I mean, if I engage deep switch A and save that in a preset, is it going to be engaged when I use the preset even if the deep switch A is no longer active?
Okay so I'm an idiot. Can someone explain this probably simple concept to me...the output of the TRS cable on the Mood, what is it going into that is able to give a stereo sound from a single input?
Generally, mic signals are a little too low to be processed by pedals straight out. We recommend using a mic preamp before MOOD. The Rolls MP13 or ART TubeMP are both pretty affordable options that will also give the option for 1/4in unbalanced output to interface with pedals after.
@@ChaseBlissAudio Great, I got loads of those. I need a special box to use midi clock sync though, is that correct? ((it remains to be seen whether there is any point having Mood clock synced though).
@@PhilippeGiron You can use a chase bliss compatible 5pin - TRS cable, but using these sometimes you can get a cable wired incorrectly or it intrdouces noise since it's not opto-isolated. The MIDI box just removes headaches before they happen.
Smooth clock, overdubbing on looper, you can switch looper modes without dropping your audio, no clock noise, longer loop lengths, MIDI clock sync, and more

@@patrickr6505 how wide the spread is with an incoming stereo signal is determined by how wide the signal is the begin with. So to get true left and right ping pong with a stereo input source the pedal will need to be feed a super wide sound. Mono in with the MISO and SPREAD dips on will give you left to right ping pong sound.

@@LoVeAmBiEnT I know right?.. Because Ping Pong is technically a mono signal.. just manipulated into offsetting on both channels..as far as I know..I stand corrected if not...
@@patrickr6505 Ping pong does still work in stereo, though slightly differently. The echoes will match your incoming panning depth and use that to set the width of the ping-pong effect. It's pretty dang useful because hard-panned sounds will give you that wide, dramatic swing, while sounds that are panned more gently get subtler stereo movement to match.
