very simple, but also really inspired! bookmarking this so I know where to go once I'm ready to be making screen records of my process! (god knows we need all this evidence we aren't AI bots lately in the freelance market... sheesh aha)
This is a great idea! This could also be accomplished by animating a camera by hand, but to have it automated is a great idea. I wonder for v2 if there's anyway to be able to record the process without needing a second monitor
@@JosiahBout if you were to animate a camera by hand, wouldn’t you have to play the timeline? Which removes the ability to record any workflow involving the timeline. With my addon, not only does it not play the timeline, but you can change the speed of rotation as you work, making it easy to zoom in and slow down if you plan to work on one area for a longer time. Also, you can definitely record in a single monitor! When you add a new window in Blender make sure it’s a “new main window.” Then in OBS choose window source not screen source. You can work in one Blender window and record in the other.
@@P134-i3p You can! It’s not as convenient, but OBS can also record a “window” not just a monitor. Get blender opened, open your second blender window (on your single monitor. Make sure it is a “new MAIN window” in this case!). Then in OBS add a new window source and select your second blender window. As long as both are open, you can work in one and record in the other. I just tested this on my laptop.
This is genuinely so useful. It's something that'll definitely help me to get my art out on social media. Cheers man!
Thanks! It's simple, but hopefully you find it useful. Let me know if you come across any bugs.

Yeah, good point. I’m hoping it’ll help me get some Timelapse asset creation content out there I’ve been wanting to do.
Great idea, very useful. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
This is awesome, nice work man. Instant buy.
Thankyou Riley, TH-cam recommended your video in studio analytics.

What features does your PC have? Processor, graphics card?
is this addon available on the official Blender extension site? I didn't find this in my addon on Blender
