Lived in Va Beach back in the 60's and early 70's.. Attended Linkhorn Park Elem and assuming it is in the same location. Is Va Beach Middle Sch the former Va Beach Jr. High? I'm planning on visiting again and excited to see the changes in the area. Everything looks so developed from watching your videos.
Seems like this neighborhood carries a very (too) high location premium. Unlike a lot of desirable neighborhoods in VB, I thought the value proposition in Bay Colony wasn’t great: many of the non-million dollar homes are aged, have smallish lots, and need some work. You can probably get better waterfront/close to waterfront value in little neck and great neck but it isn’t as prestigious. Sam is the best!

I was a bus boy at the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club back in the (cough cough) ‘s 😄 It was real life Caddyshack 😄 We used to party on the yachts of the members with cool kids 😄 Do you know what the real name of the old Dome is? Hint, mentioned in your video.
I bet that was fun! The Cavalier is such a neat landmark for our area and the re-model is really nice (wish I could afford to stay a few night$). What's the old Dome and it's real name?
Awesome!! This is great! I was actually a bellman at the Founders Inn as my first job in high school and a lot of the people I became friends with started at the Cavalier. As far as the Dome site, do you mean the Virginia Beach Civic Center?
