Hello Karen, it's Karen from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. This looks really good. I have never tried these peppers, I must give it a try. Today I made an apple pie and I brought it to the elder gentlemen I work for he really enjoyed it. I'm going to try and do more baking now that the fall is here. I have all my hardwood packed in my shed for the long cold snowy winter we get each year.well you all take care and I will text you another time. God Bless!
Karen it's so good to hear from you. I bet that apple pie was delicious 😋 my daughter in law makes an apple cider pie I'm excited to try this holiday. It's a wonderful feeling to share with others. Glad you are all packed up and ready for winter. Our winters are usually fairly mild. We have a short time that it's cold 🥶 Take care and we'll talk again soon. ❤️
Very creative take on the meatball sandwiches! I especially love how the bread crusted so nicely. All sorts of possibilities with this recipe, for sure! The stuffed jalapenos are one of my favorites! Stephanie gave me a new tip on how to core and seed them, thanks! Gotta do them when it get cooler, soon. Personally, I prefer them on the grill, like Brandon demoed. I appreciate the "quick and easy" factor with making these dishes. Sending hugs to all!
Thank you so much. The sandwiches are an endless possibility. Pizza, BBQ, all so yummy. My kids are creative. I enjoy having them in the kitchen with me. Thank you so much for watching and for your support ❤️
I love the jalapeño poppers there so delicious yum yum 😋 when there cooked there less spicy for those who think there too hot there delicious..your meatball sandwiches looked great and yummy 😋
Good Saturday Morning Karen. You and your family know how to do a Friday evening supper. I loved every bit of it. Karen it’s so beautiful to see you and your family working together in your kitchen. Love you all. What are you cooking for the weekend Karen, I’ll be waiting to see. Have a wonderful weekend too.❤️😃
Thank yiu so much Faith. We love cooking and I love having my family close to me. Not sure what I'm cooking for dinner today. Gonna be filming again this weekend 🤪 Thank you so much for your love and support ❤️
Karen stuffed jalapeno peppers are one of my favorites. Your family did a great job, and i loved the looks of the meatball sandwiches. Thanks for the video. God bless you and your family. Love your channel.
Football season is upon us and both these items are going on my football food list. I'll definitely be making them for the first game! Thanks Karen and family. 👍 😊
This looks soooooo good ! I had not seen the Meatball Sammiches done that way, its a must try ! The Stuffed Jalapenos look " yummmm." What a treat, to have the Family involved, that just makes it so much better, doesn't it ?!! 🙂😊🙏🏻🤗💜
I love jalapenos cooked on the grill. I have to tell ya when yall tried the meatballs they looked so good I did a happy dance. You are so pretty and you have such a lovely family. Thanks I had fun watching yall cook!
Thank yiu so much. Those sandwiches are awesome. The peppers are delicious 😋. Thanks for watching and thank you for you sweet comment. I love being with my family ❤️
When i cook a beef roast we always have a. Jalapeno pepper on the side cut up with the mashed potatoes and gravy ,its so good with just a little heat . love your recipe s keep it going we love you .
Thank you. Your roast sounds yummy. Sometimes I cook mine with Greek peppers. Not necessarily Mississippi pot roast. I just like the flavor 😋 loves and hugs ❤️
Everything looked delicious. Yum. That made me hungry. Lol Wish we could have cut a pepper into. I bet the inside was so delicious as well. Thank you guys for sharing
Oh I have just recently found your channel. What a beautiful family you are and Karen, your cooking is amazing. We are myself and my almost 16 year old son, from the UK, living in Australia and right now we are doing these meatball sandwiches. It’s a little after lunchtime here, we are hungry, and I just know these are going to go down very well. Thank you! Will be catching up with all we’ve missed and liking. Can’t wait to try some more cooking. Much love to you all
Thank yiu Teresa. Let me know what you think. I think they are good anytime, not just during football season. Good for a picnic, on the beach, on a hike, or wherever you want to take them. Just stay home and have game night or movie night with the family. Great snacks. Loves and hugs ❤️
@@KarenJonesFoodFamily Yes, they will definitely be good for any snack and/or lunch. We loved them, and so super easy. Very tasty. We will be making again for sure. We often take lunches out and do snacks for movie nights. We now have something else to make easily. Friends will love them so I will tell them where they came from! Thanks again 😃
Wow, I never thought about stuffing the jalapeno with sausage!! I don't like sour cream, cream cheese or anything like that, I think I'd use extra sharp cheese (yours looks amazing)!! I'd like to know if I use hot Italian sausage (ground), extra sharp cheese, should I cook the sausage first, let it cool before adding the cheese, wrap the jalapeno and place under the broiler? Thank you for your input and again, those look fantastic!!
I would use the italian sausage and sharp cheese and follow the same method. Grill or oven at 425 about 40 minutes or until sausage is done. Let me know if you make them like that. 😋❤️
You all know Game Day party foods! Great recipes. Something else came to mind regarding these 2 recipes. These would be great for camp fire on the beach! As you know, there is something to be said about cooking old-fashioned style on the beach. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to to next family cookoff! God Bless.
Oh Karen! The peppers and meatball sandwiches look so good! That’s my kind of eating! We grow our own jalapeños every year and I make poppers. But I’m definitely making your version next time. And I just might serve those meatball sandwiches for dinner.
Looks amazing! Karen, tonight I made a dinner that was soooo good - first-time recipe -- linguini in a white wine sauce. Recipe included garlic, butter, olive oil, parsley (I used chopped mixed greens - no parsley), lemon juice, coarse pepper, kosher salt, fresh parmesan, a bit of cayenne (or red pepper flakes crushed); and linguini. I fried some bacon and chopped and added that along with some cooked shrimp I thawed, halved lengthwise and de-tailed. Interestingly, I made it around 3:30; it was done at 4, but I didn't serve it until 6 to my husband. During that time, the linguine really took on the flavor and it was mahvelous.
I've never made anything like this before but I'm going to try these (the bacon wrapped peppers) : ) The look sooo Yummy !!! I always appreciate how You (Karen) & your family take a Good Close up of what you're making as well as pausing for a decent amount of time as well, ... too many people show what they're making but only focus on it for 1-2 seconds & if a recipe is ''new'' to a person, it's not long enough : ( P.S. The Meatball Sandwiches looked Delicious too ! : ) FYI ... : ) Appreciate all of your videos but I rarely comment ~ God Bless, HAGWknd & Thank-you for Sharing : )
Thank you Cindy. These are really delicious. The sandwiches are good and cheesy. I try to grtvthe right amount of time, not too long not too short. I don't want people watching 20 minutes of a mixer going round and round. Thank you for watching ❤️
Hi Ms Karen You are so lucky to have such a great family and your son looks and sounds like your husband. Wish My family was close but both kids are each 350 miles from me. Love the meatball sandwich’s and the poppers look great. Thank you.

Oh yum man ...I'll make them for watching the rugby 🏉 😉 in my house its serious business Hahaha , I've an English son in law so when Scotland play England it's full on mayhem hahaha
It all looks so good. May I ask are you using breakfast sausage or something else? I have plenty of peppers in my garden. This will be perfect. Thank you.
Both look good. I am not comfortable with grilling, so can the stuffed peppers be baked or air fried? Also, does the meatball get heated through enough befor the bread and cheese get browned? I would probably heat my meatballs a bit before putting them in the buns. I will definitely be trying both. Thank you for the recipes!
Thank you. Yes, you can bake the peppers on 425 about 40 minutes or until stuffing is done. Also, the meatballs do get hot. You could heat them up before putting in the bread if you wanted to. Both are delicious 😋 Let me know if you try them. ❤️
We should tried them. I don't do heat so well so I should have gotten my son to try it. It was absolutely awesome. Like yiu had made a patty with the sausage and cream cheese and grilled it. Ooooh! That sounds like the making of a new recipe 😋
I have to wear gloves to handle any kind of hot peppers. They will set my hands on fire and they will burn for hours. I do love these stuffed peppers. Looks super good. And meatball subs 😋😋. ❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I bet you can. You just want to be sure the meatballs get heated through and through. I don't have an airfryer so I'm not familiar with it. Thanks for your comment. If you try it, please let me know.
@@KarenJonesFoodFamily Hello Karen, just wanna update you on the mini meatball sandwich. I did use my airfryer but I cooked the unfrozen pre-made meatballs separated at 360 for 12 mins. at cooking temperature of 170 on the meatballs then I stuff the meatball in a Hawaiian sweet roll with same ingredients you put, then back in the airfryer reduce heat to 300 let heat up to 4 mins. but kept close eye to make sure it doesn't burn.
