She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life!! I first heard Nancy on the radio in Ohio, in 1989. I was a 13 year old white girl with a deep love of jazz. I got to meet her several times (by begging, lol) . Every time, I would literally stand there with my mouth open & completely stunned!!! She was everything!! Oh, her eyes!!! She was kind, joyous, loving, hopeful, beautiful & generous. Not to mention, my favorite singer. My she rest in the most glorious peace!! She was so beautiful & special. She loved everyone. And I love her, forever. I will never forget her kindness!! 💗💗💗
Elegant.Eloquence. class.charisma. This is a Black queen. Don't get it twisted.
In retrospect one can say that Arsenio was THE ONLY black entertainer that put his money where his mouth was: He supported black artists of ALL GENRE like no other!
I never knew about Jommy Scott till she mentioned that she emulated him..and now I like his music also..love her music
This lady had a BEAUTIFUL speaking voice too. I could listen to her read the phonebook.
Ms. Wilson was very tolerant of Arsenio here ... but my favorite Nancy Wilson song is "Guess Who I Saw Today". It's a great blessing to have a gift that you can use daily to earn a living & love what you do and add beauty & pleasure to the world. Nancy Wilson had that! And she was from O H I O!
She did a version of Mr.Bojangles that really humbled me.She's also my wife's aunt.

K Ford....No lies, for sure-Long winded? ABSOLUTELY! I can go on for days when it comes to Our Savior😊Matter of fact, when I testify at church-NOBODY hollers, "take yo time"! LoL. Really, tho, I do miss my brothers and sisters, for the most part, being on one accord, lifting each other up, and selfishly protecting and being defiantly proud of "ours". Remembering whose shoulders we stand on, and how much easier, BECAUSE OF THEM, we now have it. It feels like we are fractured, so to speak, and our generations no longer feel connected. You probably can't tell, but I'm actually a happy, positive person. More than anything, tho, I'm a REALEST....

I love what you said Rosilyn MaKeba, so true, especially about the " diva mess". Nancy Wilson had it without broadcasting it. I remember something i read i believe in Jet magazine many years ago. A reporter had asked her her age and she freely gave it. The reporter was surprised she gave her age, as it's no secret many women, likely some men also, don't tell everyone their age. Her response to the reporters surprise?, she said, i've earned these years. Loved that statement, you are what you are. RIP Ms. Nancy Wilson, you are one of the true legends of song.

That's his aunt. I never knew thst until Steve Harvey said it. Steve and Arsenio went to college together.
They were very close, Nancy was his mentor,I saw them perform in a club on the Upper west side of NYC in1981,he opened for Nancy ,he was funny and she sang like a dream and looked Gorgeous in White Satin,Great memories
