What would you say is the sweet spot of the ratio 6? Does the Aiden surpass it?

Cometeer pods are delicious, and have gotten many of my friends to embrace more of the nerdy coffee culture. Truthfully, a lot of people have no idea what a well-brewed specialty light roast can taste like. Black coffee to them is a dark roast from Starbucks, or a cheap Folgers cup they make in their Mr. Coffee. In that way, Cometeer is a resounding success, but whoever really brings specialty to the mainstream also needs to do it sustainably. Nespresso pods, cometeer pods, and keurig pods are all terrible for the environment compared to buying a bag of beans. The Fellow Aiden doesn't "lock you in" to expensive, unsustainable pods the way a similar product like the xBloom Studio does. It lets you buy any coffee beans you want and the result is a better cup that I can make myself via a pourover or aeropress.
I think a future product that will really attract the mainstream is one that also grinds and weighs the beans for you. Even if that is $500+, the convenience of just loading a hopper, pressing go, and ending up with a specialty pourover quality coffee would have a broad appeal.

Honestly, I think it would be better for people to go back to Dark Roast preground instead of people continuing to use K-cups or Nespresso’s pods (which maybe should get investigated for false claims of being recyclable?)
This seems like a great solution and a big help for the older generation or for workplace replacement where a $400-1000 (grinder and scale) show up as an employee benefit, cost savings over time, and more.
Really cool to see, glad to have you back!

We’ve been waiting to hear from you about the Aiden.
I completely agree, Aiden makes great coffee, incredibly easy and simple.
Using the XBloom original is more work than using the Aiden and the coffee is better….

This video feels like a video targeted towards people who already know all about the Aiden. It barely talked about the coffee maker itself or what makes it special. In my opinion, it seems like something high tech enough to where I would be worried about it only lasting a few years or running into lots of problems that require total replacement instead of fixing parts, versus moccamasters or old oxo coffee makers that are still chugging
