they have been mining with those for some time, they mine some months then, they send them out when network is in strain already goldshell wont take my blood no more
To match the efficiency of the big Kaspa Dog KS5 pro, Kaspa Echo needs to be around 7th @1000W to lead the market and bring the hype back. Same thing with Al Echo, 4-5TH @1000-1200W which seems to be unlikely but that what is required for Goldahell to keep them up in the game. Iceriver will be watching and they will drop their mid range series right after Goldshell drop theirs.
Looks like an X16-Q style, like 3U size miner. I've been saying, they need to bring back the lite series miners, that was a really nice sweet spot for serious home miners.
The blurry picture makes it seem like either a tower PC or a 3U rackmount... However, they need to improve their asic chips to make it interesting. Currently the efficiency is terrible compared to IceRiver/Bitmain. IceRiver has the KS0/AL0, Bitmain doesn't have anything except industrial miners.
Thats exactly what it's looking like and agreed , the price needs to make up for the lack of efficiency here , curious to see if they start adapting price wise
How I think this will play is think if Goldshell prices the AL units at sub 4K to be competitive ice river will respond with a price cut on the AL0. Once goldshell buckles and drops the price on the Echo Al units, Ice river will then announce the AL0 pro, and goldshell will get rekt again.
Unfortunately, Goldshell has a horrible history when it comes to pricing. I would be all over one of these under $1500. More than likely they will be $3k+
Tottally agree on this, goldshell really sucks, they rob customers with unreasonably high pricing, I bought a ka box at 2500$ in April, now I lose in their game. In Europe they would be sued for sure, unfortunately for me, I am in Asia.
Yep hashrate mooning , this dip isn't helping , but my focus is just yield over everything. Ks5 pro has been available and in stock for months ,spot prices are nearing August batch pricing , the August batch preorders haven't shipped yet , at least for the plebs, I'm sure the big players like mara and I'm sure others are part of the recent increase.
I'm still glad ,.long term will still hold up don't care much about current fiat profitability , I'm focused solely on yield , which will be better now than later. Even 1 alph/day , I value that alph at at least 10 USD sometime next year. I mine and buy on dips and just stack , ideally waiting for larger units after the hashrate gets wrecked but may order a few more smaller units.
My AL Box will never make a profit. It runs well, but I won't be buying from Goldshell again. I took a risk on buying the AL box (though not at crazy prices). That's my bad choice, but it's Goldshell's practices that really put me off. If they cared about their customers they wouldn't be gouging and not taking care of them after price cuts. Never again

💯 , I wouldn't be surprised to see Iceriver drop/announce theirs the same day or a day later.
@@miningstackerI see no new miners on gold shell?
@@lewistaylor3663 first one is the e-ka1m kaspa asic, not on their site yet

That's exactly what it's looking like and yes , definitely much needed , just hoping they start getting with the program with their pricing
I agree. Wait for iceriver to announce their mid range units.

We will keep letting it be known to them and maybe one day they'll start pricing reasonably

@@Lewis-gu9yr well, you aren’t robbing someone if they voluntarily pay. I just don’t pay for their miners. I look for better deals.
Typical 15 amp, 120v outlet will produce 1800 watts (power = current x voltage).
Yes, but never want to go to max , so subtract 20% to stay within the 80% rule, which gives you 1440w.
Hi!! I think would be like 3U server
That appears to be the sizing , going to be somewhere in that ballpark
I still think ASIC prices are not catching up to hashrate, just checked a few sources 775-820PH. Ah, and KS5pro is already in stock with dealers.

@@chrisviaegnatia4347 yeah it's pretty much there , so shipping anytime in the next few weeks here , going to be crazy

But price goes up from here!
they have a shot at redemption after they fucked up with AL box 1 and 2. With how they have been doing business i doubt they will use that opportunity
💯
way taller because PSU integrated
I wonder if Goldshell learned from their mistakes when bringing out this series.
That's my biggest curiosity here, this will be the first new release to see if they are listening to the feedback.
Sedra is better bang for your buck right now mining instead of Kaspa. Cash out sedra buy more kaspa
Goldshell is greedy!
They are robbers, I wish they would be sued everywhere around the world.
bye2 goldshell
All they’ve done is dumb sh*t with their releases this year. Why would these be any different….
Tomorrow I will switch off 2.7 th kaspa rigs , will work night shift only
Efficiency is going to start being a factor here until price starts keeping pace depending on your electric rate
This Goldshell is a useless company.
