I think that's the beauty of jazz, u can play your own point of view. MATTER of fact I am not a BE fan though I've listened to waltz for Debby BE's own version, but listening to JA's version might make me go back and listen to BE again. Jazz is beautiful!

I'm a big JA fan..but in this case, I would say Bill Evans plays my favourite interpretation.
Im big fan of Jazz. Doesnt matter if tht big or not.. but i prefer to just listen and apreciate, i know who i am, and who joey is..

I had the same idea by his way of comping his own playing. It sounds a bit blocky and full for comping. Maybe comparable with McCoyTyner.
