This is the HARDEST mission to triple star rank because there's no money and no ghosts that are added to the ghost counter. In order to triple star rank this mission you need to take ZERO damage and finish in less than 2 minutes 30 seconds! It was downright depressing when I attempted this but I did it eventually!
Ambush maneuver is both a stupid and good name. Yes, maneuver normally means a tactical approach. And yes ambush normally means a rush. That said, an ambush can also be a surprise attack, and a maneuver doesn’t always mean a slow attack, it just means a tactically effective attack
I remember having quite some trouble with Mr. Boolossus there. I'd say that the secret to this fight is just patience, really. If you're patient enough, it should make it easier.

I don't know if you knew this Chugga, but there is a easier way drill the Big Boo... If you aim your flash light at him, he covers his faces for some time, but, if you flash him with the straw bulb, he'll vanish and try to reappear behind you. Just leave your back exposed right next to the train tracks where the train is about to pass, then just simply aim the flashlight at him as he appears on the train tracks. I just find this way SO much easier then waiting for him to attack, then get stunned, then try to launch him precisely into the drill.

Fun fact: I found out when fighting this boss myself that if you can get him to charge into the drill it will have the same effect and separate him.
I had him just materialize in front of the drill after causing him to flee a bit
