They also have some weird justifications that they share among them like :"It would feel like I'm dating my brother", which is strange because no other race is thinking that when they date within, but I've heard this multiple time LOL.
A friend of mine was at Kyochon recently (she's a black female) and overheard some Asian women talking sh*t about asian guys, saying they're boring and they'd rather date white men. This really bothered her to hear them speak this way. These women were talking very loudly within earshot of Asian men working there. Really, just classless behavior. See we can't say this. A lot of us don't teach our kids history and race dynamics here and we should. 1st gen immigrant parents especially cuz often times they don't really know either. They don't really see things in a systemic or cultural way but think it's just dealing with that 1 asshole. I'm vietnamese guy in Canada. I personally had many white and desi girls asking me to date them (there were no black and almost no asian girl in my class). Before that I didn't care about my appearance but I start taking care cuz those girls who were interested made me feel valuable for the first time. In college I study in IT and there's basically no girls. I'm personally into asian girls but I notice in some cases, asian girls felt entitled towards me thinking I'm 100% attracted to them just cuz me and them are asian and they felt some kind of superiority probably thinking I want them badly or some shit. I find that disgusting and do my best to show 0 interest. Most Asian guys in America came as 1st generation Americans. Asian kids parents came here as fresh off the boats trying to adjust to society. You make a good point here, but unfortunately, the angry Asian men on here are not listening to you. They find justification in being bitter and feel they are in the right in their hate, without ever reflecting inward. They are hurt and take out their pain on their own people. It’s destructive and toxic to Asian women but even worse, to themselves. I know plenty of Asian men who do quite well, relationship/dating/married and career wise. They do not put whiteness/white women on a pedestal either and surround themselves with other Asians who are proud, positive and working on bettering themselves and others. Hate to break it to you but 54-60% of Asian American women are married out, so there is no "community between Asian men and women" anymore. It's no longer even possible to realistically think that way. Asian women are not going to prioritize Asians over the white families they married into LMAO. My girlfriend is Filipina from the Philippines and I am a Black Panamanian American. We have alot in common and respect each other. I dated others races of females . She never put down Filipino men and I don't put African American females. We try to learn each other cultures. Date who you date.

If someone chooses to reject Asian culture, they are not a member of our community in any meaningful way. Race and ancestry is insufficient to unite a group. It's cultural values that define a group.
Sometimes it's the downsides of those cultural values that they're rejecting because those values can feel unfair & restrictive. So yeah, if the expectation is that Asian women have to stick to traditional Asian female roles in society, then it's the Asian values they're rejecting & not necessarily the Asian men.

But it's what we see white womem achieved that make us think oh maybe it'd be different if we don't go out with Asian men. I think these Asian women's relationships with their parents & their parents relationship with each other will also influence their preferences. It's coping mechanism on everyone's part, which doesn't mean it's the best solution.
@@L-K-K There is a rejection of the Asian men aswell. Asian men are considered and percieved as the least attractive group of men in society. So Asian women being aware of that will not date or procreate with a group of men which looks/phenotype is deemed unattractive. Hence why Asian women date European men in Western society as they pushed in society as main man. You also see a growing number of Asian women with African men/''Black men'' as some would say. And the whole Blasian look is very populair and exotic looking so that also plays a role. I have met some half Korean/Nigerian and Chinese/Jamaican guys i can truly say they their physical, height, genes is just fenomenal. So as these developments take place more and more. As an Asian guy that’s only ever dated outside of my race, every time we were out asian girls with white guys would go out of their own way to show they’re together and would give this silly, immature smirk at us, (these guys tend to always look the same, receding hairline, the dullest ever outfits, stone cold look in their eyes) and we would would both laugh at them 😂luckily I have a good hairline and most of my evening wardrobe is from YSL so all I can say is make an effort on your appearance, work out and be the best version of yourself for you

In college, I've met a Mien girl that doesn't date Mien guys. She only dates Vietnamese guys. Also met a Vietnamese girl from the Bay area that only dates Latinos. I overheard them talking one day, the Mien girl said she doesnt date her own, and then asked the Viet girl about Viet guys. And the Viet girl responded with "I don't know, I've never dated them." LoL So I guess even within the Asian group, some Asian girls self hate on their specific group and only date other Asians that aren't from their group.
I saw this all thru middle and high school. I grew up in a mostly Filipino part of the city in the 90s. They were the "cool kids". The Asian girls I were into, were never into Chinese/Vietnamese guys like me. They were into the Filipino guys. Now that I'm an adult looking back, it was such a weird dynamic.

Filipinos have a far different dating expeirience than Chinese and other East Asians. In HS, and even far into adulthood, I see Filiipino guys with the reputation of being the cool ones who are able to bag any ethnicity of women they want. The perception of Chinese guys (whether it is true or not) is not quite up to par.

I think the phenomenon of Asian women who say that they don't date Asian men because "they look like my brother" stems from childhood trauma resulting from resentment of growing up under the thumb of a strict father. Dating white or otherwise non-Asian men is the girl's way of rebelling against her Asian father. You typically don't hear this type of rhetoric from Asian men even though they grew up with the same familial dynamics. Also, I think the hypergamy argument has merit since women have the option of dating above their caste whereas most men are forced to punch down.

When the podcasters mentioned “everyone’s experience is different/maybe it’s a matter of self-reflection” I can agree with those sentiments. As a (slightly) mixed Filipino man I got into the Dating scene late (like started exploring at 24 actually started dating at 26 now 28) I can’t really recall a time in my 4 years where I couldn’t get women. I think this is because I can be Hispanic passing(also fully Hispanic first/last name). I’m tanned skinned. I’m sure my slight Eurocentric physical appearance helps (strong jawline strong cheek bones) but I noticed a lot of Asian men I hang out with online/irl usually barely have game. Not everyone is lucky, so I believe y’all do gotta step your game up if you’re not blessed. I am friends with a few “ugly” Asian men who still get women cause they actually approach and have game.
I'm glad Kpop has made Asian men more popular and it was unfair for American media to have emasculated Asian men for so long. HOWEVER Why do we have issues with who Asian women date? Why is it even a topic of discussion? It's a personal decision and they don't have to justify it to anyone. Taking issue with Asian women's dating preferences is a way to control them and get them to toe the line to stay within standards we have set for them. It's common for some black women to take issue with black men dating outside their race too, as if they have ownership over black men - meaning, many communities do this not just the Asian community. It's exhausting. Asian women get called racist by non-Asians if they mostly date Asian men, they get called slutty and "run through" if they date Black men by the Asian community. And now they're accused of "self hate" if they date white men.

Just like there's pockets of black men who perpetuate this behavior, there's also pockets of black women who do the same. As an example, Black Women have even started movements and groups for this kind of behavior, such as Divestors, and advocate for black women to end the black community by dating, marrying, and having children with non-black men. Its unfortunate that theres so many black men and black women who both act like this is a one-sided situation, and that its only the other side that participates in it. It only fuels the growing animosity between the two of us, further eroding our community.

Having a preference in dating, isn't an "attack" much like not wanting date anyone for any reason including weight or "race", which doesn't exist. It is discrimination, however, and thank goodness. Or else you will find YOURSELF on the end of being forced to couple with someone you deemed unattractive.
It's fine to date outside of your own race, but don't bash your own race. It shows there's definitely a problem with them and shows major insecurity issues. I don't care if an Asian girl dates a white guy or vice versa, are they compatible or are they just fetishizing each other because of their race? Are the Asians only strictly dating outside of their race because it's a preference or they just hate their own race? A little story, I went on one date with an Asian woman, me being Asian myself, rejected a second date because she doesn't want to date another Asian because it would feel like dating her brother or whatever. We both wasted our time on the date because she already made up her mind in the first place. That was when I realized how hard it was for an Asian guy to date anybody.

As a Vietnamese guy who has dated 95% out of my race, and with Asian female friends who predominantly do the same, I'd say its hugely multi-factored. The most critical one arguably being the community you grew up in. I did not grow up with around an Asian community whatsoever outside my nuclear family, so the pool was extremely limited to start, and any other Asians around were largely assimilated into white or black culture and expressed similar preferences to look outside their own race. Thus, I grew up in an environment where I wasn't particularly attracted to them(Asian women), nor them to me. When that's the environment you're exposed to during your sexual maturation, it makes perfect sense to me. I can of course recognize a pretty or even hot Asian girl, but it doesn't register primally in the same way a hot white girl does. I don't think it has anything to do with "self-hatred", I'm very proud of my diverse cultural background and grateful for the lessons and perspectives I've gained from it.
I will also add honestly, Southeast Asian women AND men date lots of Mexican or Black guys/girls in California and usually because both sides are open to it, there isn't nearly as much hate. Can't speak for East or South Asians however.
you can be big physically but if you still displaying soft qualities the math aint gonna add up in a females head, you need to establish consistency, prolly something wrong with how you are dressing or behaving.
Great conversation. I was just thinking about this the other day. I've dated mostly outside of my race, however, never bashed Asian women. I love my mother and my sisters. Asian men really need to step up their game though. I see AM at my gym who never make eye contact or talk to anyone. Get some balls and don't take any flak from anyone. Grow some confidence. The only time I've seen a guy approach a girl WF in the gym was from an Asian guy. This was not a casual bump into some nearby, he literally walked across the room and introduced himself. He was short, average looking but he made a good impression.

Having lived in different Asian countries for well over 10 years, I can say that this doesn't just happen in western countries. Its ALL over the world. In Asia women always want white men. As a black guy, I remember going on a video called not your Asian women. the reason why they came up with that title is to specifically tell Asian men that they don't belong to them, they're both interracialist.. Just date out. No big deal. We're the smallest minority cluster, and there's like 10x as many whites, 2x as many Black and Brown women. The dating pool blows up, even if 2/3 of them don't like Asians. Just do some Affirmative Action for Asian women, and always try a little harder for your own.

I'm gay (Asian, though often mistaken for Latino), and I've never had issues with dating, having lived in several countries and dated local guys. Maybe my experiences don't directly relate to you, straight Asian men. I do feel bad for some Asian men who've told me about feeling unwanted by Asian women. They seemed devastated. But let me share a few observations about some White Male-Asian Female (WMAF) couples I'm surrounded by. They don't always look as great on the inside as they do on the outside. One, the husband expected his wife to be the stereotypical obedient Asian woman, but she turned out to be more independent and assertive than the white women he avoided. He's exhausted taking care of the baby while she's busy gossiping with her friends. Two, the husband turned out to be gay. His wife had heavily showcased their interracial relationship on social media, and they ended up divorcing. Good luck with that!! Can’t imagine the embarrassment. Third, the husband, also gay, kept hitting on me when his wife was away. I wish I could post their picture as an example, but that would be inappropriate. Four, in another case, a seemingly happy WMAF couple was hiding a big secret. The wife confided in me that her husband had another wife-a white Latina! She's overwhelmed taking care of the house, the baby, and all the chores, feeling like she is economic wife (that includes nanny, maid, and caregiver). I didn’t know how to react when she told me her story. I believe some WMAF couples are genuinely happy, and I don't mean to despise them. I mostly date white men myself for different reasons. I've often been rejected by Asian men, while attractive white men approached me. This might be one reason why some Asian women choose to marry outside their race. So, if you're an Asian man who's been rejected by Asian women fitting into those four examples above, consider yourself lucky. It means you avoided a lot of potential heartache. The right woman will come along in time. I wish you all the best-you deserve it!!
And why do they? Because they think we are second to the top, and it's an upgrade in status to their own brown and black men, and if they cant find a white guy or feel hatred towards their privilege. A lot of women from other races hate on their men too--but they hate on ALL men, and/or are completely delusional on what they "offer" vs. what they think they're "entitled" to in a relationship. Off the top of my head I'd venture to say that not as many Asian women hate on ALL men, and they also tend to be more realistic about their relationship options than most women of other races. That itself is a huge factor for why many Asian women are more popular with men of other races too. That gives them lots of options, hence lots of opportunities for a large pool of potential partners, and therefore more opportunities for interethnic marriages.
Even tho I’m a black man from Canada, I love watching Asian American culture ❤ for some reason I feel a parallel connection to Asians and we have a lot of similarities in our cultures

My sister is danish and with an asian guy, really cool together. I don't think about race but generally I've come to like asians, their mood isn't as heavy as whites generally I find, don't know. I've always growing up thought asia was amazing and historically superior, I think with the advent of the internet suddenly it's only European history that matters which is something more recent I feel. Or maybe growing up in Denmark it was more balanced in terms of history. Appreciate understanding how it is for a lot of asian guys in the west, no one should slag off their own people and culture, I think that's wrong. It's good to see flaws but like there are a lot of white people that can't condemn the west enough and themselves, so happens there too...
As an Asian guy with avg looks with a white wife with very good looking children. I always find it funny when these same Asian girls with their white husband gives me and my kids a double take. And unlike them I actually teach my kids to embrace and love their Asian side.
interesting fact, the only girls I remember who stood me up for a date where Asian girls i had a feeling didn't like Asian guys. first one just literally didn't come to the date, a few weeks later i saw her on a date with a white dude. she looked at me and i looked at her but i just smiled and walked on she was already a baby mama she was young maybe 22. 2nd girl she gave me her number and then i set up a date and didn't show up, a few weeks later she randomly message me saying oh sorry I lost your number and was trying to set up a date with a guy she thought I was, man i was salty lol, then I told her who i was then she blocked me. 3rd girl same thing she stood me up, I saw her a few weeks later setting in a closed off restaurant outside Leicester square. Funny enough she was waiting for her date, and said he was arriving late, so i decide to talk to her and get to know her, I didn't try to attack her and be bitter but just had banter. she saw me looking at these two Asian girls walking together I remember them dressed quite smart, she told me to approach. So I did and spoke to them for a while, as the women who was waiting for a date looked at me with that thinking type smile and I managed to get one of their numbers, then I went back until her date came and left...

Here is the overall all issue. When it comes to dating and preferences, statistics have shown that Asian males and Black females are considered to be unattractive in the dating world. Because of selective perception, stereotypes, and the narrative people share about these races hinder opportunities for dating or friendships. As an African American female, I am single because of what people say about my race. If I were an African American male, I would be married right now. I do agree with Darrell. Talking negative about your own race provides evidence for people outside your race to not invest any time in your community. Caucasians have better dating history because they approach it better. Caucasians don't always bash one another publicly when it comes to dating. They will name the person who hurt them based on what they did... not what their race does. Caucasians don't allow their trauma to determine who they find unattractive. Most Caucasians just know how to date because they are not stuck in the past or afraid of it, unlike certain cultures.

It is just interesting that almost every single AW on Western media platforms that have a prominent "voice", very pro-Asian, and celebrated have white husbands (e.g. Actresses, Directors, Newscasters, Attorneys, Judges, Medical Doctors, CEOs, Researchers, Pundits). Next time a famous Asian woman is celebrated for her achievements in Western media, as she rightfully should, take a gander at who her spouse is. The not handling rejection is a laughable point. There are men of all races that can’t handle rejection so I wouldn’t pin that specifically on Asian men. I am a black woman dating an Asian man(he’s Chinese, Korean, and Malaysian) and he’s 5’7 and one of the best souls I have ever met. He may be quiet around people he doesn’t know but he is most definitely authoritative. He actually approached me which was a surprise. I’m western but I’ve been fortunate to have always had Asian friends so I never viewed Asian men in the stereotypical way that western media does. I like all the points and counterpoints discussed in this video. It is heartbreaking though to see how Asian men and women are treated when it comes to dating. I sincerely hope it gets better in the coming years.
People who experienced past abuse/harassment from their own race have an affect in their dating preference. I've met white girls who are into Asian guys because they were bullied or harassed by white guys in high school. Some where cheated on so they decided to date outside. Same with Asian girls I've known who dated outside of their race due to their abusive fathers.

My ex wife was white, my kids are half and currently partner is Chinese. I found it wild how many Asian women I met who state they don't date Asian men and are quite proud of it. They also have some weird justifications that they share among them like :"It would feel like I'm dating my brother", which is strange because no other race is thinking that when they date within, but I've heard this multiple time LOL.
A friend of mine was at Kyochon recently (she's a black female) and overheard some Asian women talking sh*t about asian guys, saying they're boring and they'd rather date white men. See we can't say this. A lot of us don't teach our kids history and race dynamics here and we should. 1st gen immigrant parents especially cuz often times they don't really know either. They don't really see things in a systemic or cultural way but think it's just dealing with that 1 asshole. The problem I have like someone else pointed out, is when Asian women fall for the white guy that fetishizes them. They get hurt, get dumped and wonder why. Most Asian guys in America came as 1st generation Americans. Asian kids parents came here as fresh off the boats trying to adjust to society. You make a good point here, but unfortunately, the angry Asian men on here are not listening to you. They find justification in being bitter and feel they are in the right in their hate, without ever reflecting inward. They are hurt and take out their pain on their own people. It’s destructive and toxic to Asian women but even worse, to themselves.
I know plenty of Asian men who do quite well, relationship/dating/married and career wise. They do not put whiteness/white women on a pedestal either and surround themselves with other Asians who are proud, positive and working on bettering themselves and others. Hate to break it to you but 54-60% of Asian American women are married out, so there is no "community between Asian men and women" anymore. It's no longer even possible to realistically think that way. Asian women are not going to prioritize Asians over the white families they married into LMAO. Asian men need to accept that we are our own tribe and build for ourselves exclusively. After all, do Asian women contribute anything positive?
The problem is that you dont have to be self-hating to fall into the trap. Its about raising awareness. There are high rates of Asian women who interracially date, but often always go for white men. Why is that? They can't all be self hating. Plus there is a problem, why should Asian women who date white men be labelled self hating anyway? Everyone had a set value when they’re born (their overall genetics) we need to stop telling people self improvement and hard work matters cause it doesn’t.
If someone chooses to reject Asian culture, they are not a member of our community in any meaningful way. Race and ancestry is insufficient to unite a group. It's cultural values that define a group.
Sometimes it's the downsides of those cultural values that they're rejecting because those values can feel unfair & restrictive. So yeah, if the expectation is that Asian women have to stick to traditional Asian female roles in society, then it's the Asian values they're rejecting & not necessarily the Asian men.

In college, I've met a Mien girl that doesn't date Mien guys. She only dates Vietnamese guys. Also met a Vietnamese girl from the Bay area that only dates Latinos.
I overheard them talking one day, the Mien girl said she doesnt date her own, and then asked the Viet girl about Viet guys.

I saw this all thru middle and high school. I grew up in a mostly Filipino part of the city in the 90s. They were the "cool kids". The Asian girls I were into, were never into Chinese/Vietnamese guys like me. They were into the Filipino guys. Now that I'm an adult looking back, it was such a weird dynamic.

Filipinos have a far different dating expeirience than Chinese and other East Asians. In HS, and even far into adulthood, I see Filiipino guys with the reputation of being the cool ones who are able to bag any ethnicity of women they want. The perception of Chinese guys (whether it is true or not) is not quite up to par.

I think the phenomenon of Asian women who say that they don't date Asian men because "they look like my brother" stems from childhood trauma resulting from resentment of growing up under the thumb of a strict father. Dating white or otherwise non-Asian men is the girl's way of rebelling against her Asian father. You typically don't hear this type of rhetoric from Asian men even though they grew up with the same familial dynamics. Also, I think the hypergamy argument has merit since women have the option of dating above their caste whereas most men are forced to punch down.

When the podcasters mentioned “everyone’s experience is different/maybe it’s a matter of self-reflection” I can agree with those sentiments. As a (slightly) mixed Filipino man I got into the Dating scene late (like started exploring at 24 actually started dating at 26 now 28) I can’t really recall a time in my 4 years where I couldn’t get women. I think this is because I can be Hispanic passing(also fully Hispanic first/last name). I’m tanned skinned. I’m sure my slight Eurocentric physical appearance helps (strong jawline strong cheek bones) but I noticed a lot of Asian men I hang out with online/irl usually barely have game. Not everyone is lucky, so I believe y’all do gotta step your game up if you’re not blessed. I am friends with a few “ugly” Asian men who still get women cause they actually approach and have game.

I 100% with all of this as I have felt lik this for most of my life. However, Andrew is right. maybe I just need to get my game up.
As a Vietnamese guy who has dated 95% out of my race, and with Asian female friends who predominantly do the same, I'd say its hugely multi-factored. The most critical one arguably being the community you grew up in. I did not grow up with around an Asian community whatsoever outside my nuclear family, so the pool was extremely limited to start, and any other Asians around were largely assimilated into white or black culture and expressed similar preferences to look outside their own race. Thus, I grew up in an environment where I wasn't particularly attracted to them(Asian women), nor them to me. When that's the environment you're exposed to during your sexual maturation, it makes perfect sense to me. I can of course recognize a pretty or even hot Asian girl, but it doesn't register primally in the same way a hot white girl does. I don't think it has anything to do with "self-hatred", I'm very proud of my diverse cultural background and grateful for the lessons and perspectives I've gained from it.
I will also add honestly, Southeast Asian women AND men date lots of Mexican or Black guys/girls in California and usually because both sides are open to it, there isn't nearly as much hate. Can't speak for East or South Asians however.

Having lived in different Asian countries for well over 10 years, I can say that this doesn't just happen in western countries. Its ALL over the world. In Asia women always want white men. I'm gay (Asian, though often mistaken for Latino), and I've never had issues with dating, having lived in several countries and dated local guys. Maybe my experiences don't directly relate to you, straight Asian men.
I do feel bad for some Asian men who've told me about feeling unwanted by Asian women. They seemed devastated. But let me share a few observations about some White Male-Asian Female (WMAF) couples I'm surrounded by. They don't always look as great on the inside as they do on the outside.
One, the husband expected his wife to be the stereotypical obedient Asian woman, but she turned out to be more independent and assertive than the white women he avoided. He's exhausted taking care of the baby while she's busy gossiping with her friends.
Two, the husband turned out to be gay. His wife had heavily showcased their interracial relationship on social media, and they ended up divorcing. Good luck with that!! Can’t imagine the embarrassment.
Third, the husband, also gay, kept hitting on me when his wife was away. I wish I could post their picture as an example, but that would be inappropriate.
Four, in another case, a seemingly happy WMAF couple was hiding a big secret. The wife confided in me that her husband had another wife-a white Latina! She's overwhelmed taking care of the house, the baby, and all the chores, feeling like she is economic wife (that includes nanny, maid, and caregiver). I didn’t know how to react when she told me her story.
I believe some WMAF couples are genuinely happy, and I don't mean to despise them. I mostly date white men myself for different reasons. I've often been rejected by Asian men, while attractive white men approached me. This might be one reason why some Asian women choose to marry outside their race.

A lot of women from other races hate on their men too--but they hate on ALL men, and/or are completely delusional on what they "offer" vs. what they think they're "entitled" to in a relationship. Off the top of my head I'd venture to say that not as many Asian women hate on ALL men, and they also tend to be more realistic about their relationship options than most women of other races. That itself is a huge factor for why many Asian women are more popular with men of other races too. That gives them lots of options, hence lots of opportunities for a large pool of potential partners, and therefore more opportunities for interethnic marriages.

My sister is danish and with an asian guy, really cool together. I don't think about race but generally I've come to like asians, their mood isn't as heavy as whites generally I find, don't know. I've always growing up thought asia was amazing and historically superior, I think with the advent of the internet suddenly it's only European history that matters which is something more recent I feel. Or maybe growing up in Denmark it was more balanced in terms of history. Appreciate understanding how it is for a lot of asian guys in the west, no one should slag off their own people and culture, I think that's wrong. It's good to see flaws but like there are a lot of white people that can't condemn the west enough and themselves, so happens there too...
As an Asian guy with avg looks with a white wife with very good looking children. I always find it funny when these same Asian girls with their white husband gives me and my kids a double take. And unlike them I actually teach my kids to embrace and love their Asian side.
interesting fact, the only girls I remember who stood me up for a date where Asian girls i had a feeling didn't like Asian guys. first one just literally didn't come to the date, a few weeks later i saw her on a date with a white dude. she looked at me and i looked at her but i just smiled and walked on she was already a baby mama she was young maybe 22. 2nd girl she gave me her number and then i set up a date and didn't show up, a few weeks later she randomly message me saying oh sorry I lost your number and was trying to set up a date with a guy she thought I was, man i was salty lol, then I told her who i was then she blocked me. 3rd girl same thing she stood me up, I saw her a few weeks later setting in a closed off restaurant outside Leicester square. Funny enough she was waiting for her date, and said he was arriving late, so i decide to talk to her and get to know her, I didn't try to attack her and be bitter but just had banter. she saw me looking at these two Asian girls walking together I remember them dressed quite smart, she told me to approach. So I did and spoke to them for a while, as the women who was waiting for a date looked at me with that thinking type smile and I managed to get one of their numbers, then I went back until her date came and left...

Here is the overall all issue. When it comes to dating and preferences, statistics have shown that Asian males and Black females are considered to be unattractive in the dating world. Because of selective perception, stereotypes, and the narrative people share about these races hinder opportunities for dating or friendships.
As an African American female, I am single because of what people say about my race. If I were an African American male, I would be married right now.

Caucasians have better dating history because they approach it better. Caucasians don't always bash one another publicly when it comes to dating. They will name the person who hurt them based on what they did... not what their race does. Caucasians don't allow their trauma to determine who they find unattractive. Most Caucasians just know how to date because they are not stuck in the past or afraid of it, unlike certain cultures.

It is just interesting that almost every single AW on Western media platforms that have a prominent "voice", very pro-Asian, and celebrated have white husbands (e.g. Actresses, Directors, Newscasters, Attorneys, Judges, Medical Doctors, CEOs, Researchers, Pundits). It just appears to be disproportionally skewed this way and this not restricted to just the United States. Next time a famous Asian woman is celebrated for her achievements in Western media, as she rightfully should, take a gander at who her spouse is. The not handling rejection is a laughable point. There are men of all races that can’t handle rejection so I wouldn’t pin that specifically on Asian men.
I am a black woman dating an Asian man(he’s Chinese, Korean, and Malaysian) and he’s 5’7 and one of the best souls I have ever met. He may be quiet around people he doesn’t know but he is most definitely authoritative. He actually approached me which was a surprise. I’m western but I’ve been fortunate to have always had Asian friends so I never viewed Asian men in the stereotypical way that western media does.
I like all the points and counterpoints discussed in this video. It is heartbreaking though to see how Asian men and women are treated when it comes to dating. I sincerely hope it gets better in the coming years.
People who experienced past abuse/harassment from their own race have an affect in their dating preference. I've met white girls who are into Asian guys because they were bullied or harassed by white guys in high school. Some where cheated on so they decided to date outside. Same with Asian girls I've known who dated outside of their race due to their abusive fathers.
