He even sounds happy normal sounds ad or sympathetic.
@RaniaIsAwesome No he wouldn't. Chris did ask "Final Answer?" and he responded affirmatively, didn't take it back. No legal issue here at all. You didn't have to SAY final answer, Chris asking and a positive response counted. This might be different in the Jeremy Clarkson era.

Tarrant was pissed off, he didn't even wait for him to say "final answer". He usually try to dissuade contestants when they are wrong, but here he obviously wanted him to lose. Final act of contempt was at the end when he said "Well done mate, now go away" lol.
He doesn’t know when they’re wrong. The computer doesn’t tell him the right answer until after the contestant has locked in their answer.

I read an article about this and apparently this guy didn't mean to come across rude. When he scrunched up the £32,000 cheque, he intended it to be a joke as Chris did that all the time as well as saying "BUT WE DON'T WANT TO GIVE YOU THAT"

@@SuperYtc1 I believe the article was called "Who Wants To Be An Arrogant Contestant?" My humour has sometimes been taken the wrong way and it came across arrogant and rude instead. So I generally believe this guy didn't do anything wrong, I've been there.
I think he may have forgot it WASN'T a prop cheque, it was a real one.
He was smug and rude throughout the whole recording, it wasn't just when he scrunched up the cheque.

I found the first question to be the easiest followed by the last question which he got wrong. It's all subjective.

I think it’s an interesting outlook. We’ve got this notion that some questions are ‘harder’ then others, but if you know the answer it’s easy as anything and if you don’t it’s not.
(Intuition about answers anyone would get or easy-to-guess notwithstanding)

Not that I actually knew, but I thought it might be badminton because of the white feathers. I normally think of arrows as having more colorful feathers.
Also, the feathers from their left wing only are used.
Plot twist: one of the fastest finger first people was quick fingered enough to switch the screwed up cheque with a similar looking screwed up piece of paper. Contestant goes home with nothing! 😆

Chris Tarrant didn't look impressed when the guy screwed the cheque and chucked it. I knew the answer was badminton. Arrows in archery has coloured feathers and it definitely couldn't have been either of the other two. The thing is he still had his 50-50 and he didn't use it. What that guy did with the cheque was rather disrespectful to the show in my opinion. I'm sure I heard Chris Tarrant say "now get away" to him as he left the stage. Who can blame him.
Not many feathers used in top level archery nowadays, indoors, maybe and with longbows, but they're generally turkey feathers.
Why didn't the fool use his 50/50.Could have taken archery out of the equasion.

That's one of the easiest 64k questions I've ever seen, I said Badminton before the options came up. I did quite enjoy watching him get it wrong though.

I think the reason they both thought of archery, is cause usually normal people when they think of arrows, have the stereotypical medieval arrow with feathers at the end in their mind, so they thought of archery. But in modern day arrows no longer have feathers on the ends, it’s been replaced with plastic flaps, so when you see it that way, the only logical ans in those options was badminton.
How was that Paul Smith question for £32,000 should have been for £200

Fair play Chris Tarrant for remaining professional after he threw it away, that made my blood boil. When you’ve seen so many of these shows and how much it means to a lot of contestants when they see their cheque, for him to do this is just arrogance beyond belief. Glad he didn’t win any more.

Chris Tarrant did not like that guy at all and and I don't blame him, tearing up the cheque like that was very smug, Chris took some consolation in the fact that the contestant had to pick it up himself, and Chris told him a couple of times that he was not going to pick it up for him...then he hurried him off stage like he just wanted him gone ASAP. Well I don't blame him at all, I din't like him either!
