Thank you for the video. I replaced both gaskets and used black gasket sealant. However, i got white smoke coming still from both sides. Am I supposed not to see smoke right after replacing gaskets or should I drive like this a week then check it again? Also can PCV valve cause the gaskets get bad and leak oil?
You don't have to. They may look fine, but the centre gaskets around the spark plugs could be leaking. If those leak you can get a misfire if oil gets in where the spark plugs sit.
cely lopez I'm getting a tune up on my A4 and head gasket too.My nephew is a mechanic. Also make sure that you plug in the diagnosic tool and check for bad spark plugs.
If it's the spark plug beside the top up cap, then you are spilling oil. I had the same issue with a 3.0L I bought that had a flashing check engine light. Someone spilled oil when topping up oil
Hello, what is that plastic/metal flap that is present when adding the oil? Do you know if it is plastic or metal and what the function of it is? Please respond asap please
