i think its easier to do the notes with a keyboard than it is on the computer itself..Defenitely going to save up to get a keyboard,most of them are really pricy.Good job man keep it up (Y)
Given the resources at his disposal it's not that hard to believe. If he were 7 that'd be something else, but this is pretty average to someone who takes it serious or enjoys it as a focused hobby.

Reason is another one that is being used a lot too (when it comes to software DAW's). FL Studio wasn't bad at all, but I felt very limited after I learned virtually everything I needed to know about FL Studio. Plus, I have a real issue with downloading VST's and sounding like everyone else out there. You can use VST's in Reason now (but couldn't before version 6). But I still use Reason 5 without VST support because I've managed to create MIDI patches that sound very close to most of the sounds I've heard or liked. I think Addison's issue is the same as mine, which was feeling like I was restricting myself from learning, or growing musically. And by learning Reason, and FL Studio, I can now use just about any other DAW (digital audio workstation). I've been able to use Logic (being used here), Cubase, and Ableton with the knowledge I picked up from Reason and FL. But yes, a lot of trap style producers have been using FL Studio simply because it's easier to pick up and learn, and you can download any VST off the web for sounds. Everyone I know who produces trap style beats, however, is all using Reason too. And if you listen to my beats, I think you'd agree, the software doesn't matter as much as the producer, and how their brain works when it comes to making beats.
