    Yup, we just got back from our 9 day stay in SK and we didn't need the k-eta! Yay! I guess I look super asian because the FAs never gave me an arrival card but it was easy enough to fill one up while standing in line at customs. There was also a sign there for an app you can download to complete an arrival card electronically. Also, I used an E-sim that I purchased online from SK Telecom. It was great coz I didn't have to remove my old sim and I was able to accept inbound calls and texts using the Korean phone number from the sim. Aside from forgetting my phone in a cab (which the cab driver was so nice to return to me), my vacation was amazing and hassle-free. I was even able to rent a car and drive on Jeju island which was so glorious! Keep those tips coming, Girl. You're helping a lot of people. 😊

    I’m trying to study film in Busan end of this year and your videos have been such a huge help to me! If I may leave a request, could you do a video about getting a gym membership in Korea as a foreigner? I’m fairly fluent in Korean and pretty much a 헬창 but have pretty bad anxiety associated with situations like that lol. This is only if it’s convenient enough for you of course, either way, thank you for this channel. I hope my Korea dream works out and if it does, I’ll have you to thank in such a huge part!

    Thank you, Megan, for your super helpful videos! My daughter and I are flying into Seoul the first weekend of May for a 2-week visit and we're both super excited. I was born just north of Seoul, abandoned as a newborn on the street, and place through adoption into the States months later. This is my first trip back to my birth country. If from the States, would you still rec a K-ETA for visa hopping (2 week increments)? Or can I just come whenever for less than 3 months anyway on a regular visa?

      @Megan Osten I thought I read somewhere recently that the covid testing at the airport wasn't happening anymore either. Is that correct?

    I got an email today telling me to apply for this k-eta... I'm going from Canada only stopping as a lay over in South Korea on my way to the Philippines. But I still have to fill out the information for this K-ETA?

    Hi Megan how are you? Been watching your video all about in korea. But i didnt get any information about the luggage storage. Question is there any luggage storage that is safe to store for couple or three days in korea(incheon airport)? Just like in Nrt japan. We’re planning to go in seoul on December for 3-4 days from NYC but im worried we wanted to store our 2 luggages at the airport of seoul for us to go around easy/light in korea. 🤔😅 thank you

      There are luggage lockers in the subways throughout Korea and at the airport itself! You can ask the information desk to point you in their direction but I’ll make a video on this - probably on my Instagram! @MeganOsten

    I just bought a pass after seeing your last video, and then I saw the announcement and was like nooooooo!! Hahahaha. Do you know if the visa will still be valid after the point where K-ETA visas are needed again? (in however many years) If not oh well, at least it wasn’t super expensive!

    • @MeganOsten
      @MeganOsten  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh no!! They recently changed the mandate 😔 but you’re right, thankfully it wasn’t expensive! I guess you could try change the date of your arrival online, because it says that the K-ETA will be required again starting in 2025, but I’m not sure if they’ll allow you to or not. The visa is valid for two years after entry into the country.
      Either way - Safe travels and have a wonderful trip! 😍🫂😊

    Hey If I go to South Korea then I leave to go to another country and came back to South Korea, does the 90 days reset? Or does the 90 day begin when I first enter and still in counting even if I leave to another country then come back? Sorry it’s quite confusing
