I have wanted to move to Thailand ever since I first visited Phuket. I’ve been on the fence about it…now I am 100% sure I want to move to Pattaya, or Bangkok.
Your videos definitely helped tip the scales in favor of moving.
To be honest, I was…am…quite nervous. There aren’t really a whole lot of great videos about Thailand. Temple tours, “Avoid this scam”, and walking tours (with no one speaking, for some reason).
I am more excited than ever, thanks in part to your videos, to permanently move to Thailand.
I am thinking about teaching English, but my true passion is culinary. I’m a former Sous Chef from NY. I’d love to have a little cafe, near the beach. Sellin’ coffee, that Thai-green, and dope (no pun intended) food.

I'm in Thailand 25 years. The best form off transport is a bath bus.. its a pick up truck with seats they have stops along the main beach area frequently...or motor bike taxi cheapest quickest best.. no apps needed ..
I took the mini bus from bkk to pattaya too. It was just perfect 👌

Would love to see a comparison of Patong and Pattaya
As I had worked at Patong many years ago and now I have a home near Pattaya, they have different vibes. I prefer Pattaya. It is a huge modern town with so many fun things to do but so relaxed. Great cafes and restaurants with normal prices. A lot of locals walking around too. (I am a local now LOL.)
Just a tip from a fellow TH-camr. You should also film the different hotels you stay in. So we can see what you get for 25US!!

Interesting that the price for a traditional Thai massage hasn't changed since I was there in 95-96. Make sure to visit the Indian tailors and get a couple suits and a tuxedo custom made!

The primary reason street vendors don’t want large notes is fraud
There is a lot of fraud with 1000 and 500 notes. It’s not the inability to provide change.
Meaning, if the note you’ve handed them turns out to be fraudulent they are down 1000 baht
Sadly, this is a “thing “ and common. Feel free to confirm with your Thai friends.
