Insane coincidence you released this video, today. I was just looking up what eSIMS were, hearing a lot about them but not really caring about it, until now.
I’m still worried if I travel to lets say Thailand and I download a esim from a Thai provider, how can I be certain my US Provider doesn’t charge me roaming? Is there any possibility of the phone switching back to my US esim without my express selection? For example is my Thai esim pay by month expires will the US esim automatically come back on or will the phone simply stop having any service? Sorry if the questions are dumb, I know nothing about this stuff
One question When i buy a airalos esim how long does it take for the number to expier and deactivate itself,if i repeatedly dont buy the plan , Thanks in advance
Another informative video! But my only question is eSIM is not yet compatible with most devices, do you think there's a possibility that eSIM will be made compatible for other phones that is 3 years old? As what I've known it is most compatible with Apple brands, latest Samsung phones and other brands.
Unfortunately, eSIM requires a chip embedded on the phone. Without that hardware, it won't support eSIM, so it's not a software update that can be pushed out to older phones.
Not sure I understand the question but this isn't a security feature although does make it easier than having to obtain a replacement physical SIM in some cases.
TPM EMMC Soldered In RAM And, now the ESIM. They complain about the chip shortage, but yet they keep manufacturing useless chips. Sounds like an enormous WASTE of silicone and resources to me.
You’re a great teacher. Well spoken. Thank you
Really informative... thank you

You can disable the US eSIM from your settings so it's not activated or used as a backup when you're traveling.

Depends on your carrier.
How does it work if my Iphone is factory locked? Will using an ESim from a different provider work on my locked iphone?
It would be the same restriction as with a physical SIM card.

Get an android with a dual sim cards and you can have a physical sim card and an e-sim. Best of both worlds! 👍
