Thank you for explaining that it isn't STUCK with an Android phone that it is setup on. So after you set it up with the "esim of your choice", you can then move sim it to another device and use it.

So adding an esim bought online for a trip seems pretty straightforward. How about adding your physical sim from your own data plan, how does that work?

You know what you could do with this ? When someone steals your ID? And gets your info so they can help you set up Paypal but does it on their phone instead?? Then gets your information?? Do you know what they can do with this information? Sometimes friends are friends and then sometimes people just acting like friends,then some people just greedy and gard up for money, then some people play a part in a dramatic way and like the role they're playing. If you're getting payment in any form and do this,you are no friend. And I don't care what the reason is!!
Obviously, this would only be suitable for traveling where your esim would be disposable and not important, for a primary sim card you'd want a physical sim or an esim supported device.

The cheapest card I picked out on their website is €25.68, but then cheapest shipping to Ireland is €10.24, and then they also add extra VAT of €8.26. Its ends up being very expensive at €44.18. Any other alternatives out there?
I already paid. Is there another company that deals with this kind of product? IF YOU HAVE TO PAY 50 DOLLARS, THEN IT IS BETTER TO FIND A NEW PHONE THAT ALREADY HAS ESM SUPPORT IN IT.

Who can call who is determined by the service provider. I think whether you connect to your service provider with a sim or an esim is irrelevant.
