    You should make a video going over proper setups for each hill on maps. I know even pros right now are struggling, and a lot of people I play with don’t really have much of a clue. An example is the bottom mid hill on Recharge, a lot of people hold Gold and A like it’s strongholds, but I believe the best hold is C plat and Control or A, and giving them gold spawns, which is very unintuitive.

    8:20 · This reminds me a bit of rifle drills in the military whereby one becomes very familiar with their tool (in your case, your controller). By practicing repetitious and precise movements, one then converts a manual skill to an involuntary habit and ultimately to a core instinct.

    The weapon swap is something I do when I’m capturing a stronghold or waiting for my shields behind cover a lot of times for the same reason you mentioned keeps you active. I always did it in sports like baseball and tennis when your on defense waiting for the action because it heightened my awareness and increased reaction time. It’s easier to move or react if already moving vs being completely still

    Great video as always Shy. I just wanted to confirm that double weapon swapping or "YYing" with the sniper rilfe does in fact reset the bloom you get from shooting. There is a slight default bloom even when the crosshair is normal, but that is a much tighter radius than after shooting. I have tested and used this heavily since the first flight of the game and using this trick is definitely viable for those high level sniper players who take noscopes at medium ranges. Thanks and glhf everyone!

    Great content man. Thoroughly enjoyable and informative. I'm an OG halo player, started playing way back on CE at a friend's house. Stopped playing halo for years after the debacle of Halo 4. Picked up 5 and enjoyed it, but age is creeping up on me and I can't cut it with the young kids. Now, at the ripe old age of 52, yea that's what I said, 52! I've started playing Infinite and I love it. I wonder if aim your oldest sub? Anyway, I was thinking, there must be a few older players now as Halo has been around a long time and I wondered if you would ever consider a video that is aimed at an older audience, tips to help with reaction times and reflexes etc, might help to expand your viewer base at the same time. Shout out for the oldies...😂

    • @Shyway
      @Shyway  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for the support! I'll be honest in saying this is sort of a weak point for me - I don't typically use headphones anymore when I game (don't like the big bulky look/feel of them lol) even though they are probably the better option for game sound. Currently using "Sennheiser CX 300S in Ear Headphones" - they're decent (sorta just impulse bought em on amazon), I can hear my opponents but I have trouble sometimes discerning where the sound is coming from xD... thankfully I typically have good enough awareness of the situation to predict their location once I hear them.
      I don't use this program but I've also hear that "Adobe Atmos" apparently can help improve surround sound quality/accuracy and some of the pros use this I believe. Apart from that, I don't have much exp with Turtle beach - I used an Astro A40 headset for ~4years though - always found it to be a good option when gaming and the ones I have still work fine today - bought em back in 2017.
      Hopefully this info helps my dude!

    I feel like the sniper having bloom just ruins it. The shock rifle is so much more consistent for no scoping and also has MASSIVELY greater kill potential than the sniper, I even managed to get my first nightmare (25 kills) medal with it

    • @LazarusOasis
      @LazarusOasis 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bloom is representative of real life recoil. Its one of the most powerful weapons in the game, and the bloom is to create a skill gap between players based on the inability to control rapid fire of it. Yeah the shock rifle is basically an op sniper, but it takes a significantly higher skill to land headshots, because on the s7 sniper, you can headshot slightly easier due to a couple of factors: pixels in the reticle that signify the headshot area, and the size of the projectile. More headshot pixels on the s7 results in a lower level of precision required, compared to the shock. Plus, you also have to remember the entire trigger pull of a shock rifle headshot, the entire blue lightning bolt projectile must land on the head for a kill. You can pull the s7 trigger from a across the map on an enemy moving horizontal, and get that kill more times than you would make the same shot with a shock rifle. The difference in the projectile is absolutely key. S7 is just a modern bullet, a shock rifle projectile is a long lightning bolt. So at certain distances, the shock rifle is near impossible to get a headshot kill with because you have to basically track the enemy head in order to land the entire shot. I feel like there's more I could explain but maybe this helps you see what I'm trying to say sorry, long comment, but I felt like it's an analysis that should be mentioned.

    personally being a former trickshotter myself, I love to YY and i play claw. but with the elite series 2 that i have, the Y button doesn’t register half the time unless i press it all the way down. it’s very annoying so i YY sparingly

    How do have the controller on the screen showing your inputs?! Is that a add on or something for your stream or is it something u animated yourself in post?
    Ps: I love they way u break down the different stuff in the video!

    I went to battle beaver didn't see the code option. But thank you so much for this video. I have a hard time breaking down techniques with my teammates. This saves me so much mental clarity. Lol

      You should have an option to apply a code right before you checkout! And np, glad it helped 👍

    I wish they'd put back in button combos. That gave Halo 2 a new layer of complexity and skill that hasn't been present since. It would also set Halo apart from the run of the mill fps games moreso than it already is.
