Not sure about shopping area anymore. I don’t think it’s going to be retail/ outlet stores for the public. Park n ride would be useful for the away fans driving in from the M1. But that large structure going up looks like it will be office space
@@masekwm Thanks, I am looking for something around January to prove they didn't have adequate parking signs up as I received a parking ticket then. I can see limited signs even now but it's from quite high up.
Where's the River Lea, the reason there's a town here? It belongs to ALL the people of Luton. Oh yes, a brief glimpse of a drain at 1 min 30. The football club made about £20m from selling the Newlands Rd site, and the premier league brought in money too. It is Environment Agency policy to deculvert rivers. The first plan, liked by hundreds of visitors to a consultation, should be followed, of moving the river to run along Church St, improving the setting of our only Grade 1 listed building. Buying the river, a valuable wildlife corridor, under the stadium would be a crime, cause pollution and affect the ecology downriver. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to do the right thing.
Thanks for sharing, will be good following the progress over the coming years
I’m surprised you haven’t seen the construction next to the M1 jnc10 massive building is up already, park and ride and a shopping area

Disappointed with that. There was supposed to an IMAX cinema too by Odeon
Didn't Luton just finish completion of a new stand this season?

Was this recorded on 5th May 2024?
Hi, yes would’ve been around then
