    Sarah they got pulled 4 times for not obviously hand passing so whats the issue? Teams that are pushing the limits will always play on the edge - seems a shallow nit-pick.

    There's a big trend here that when Limerick beat a team (KK apparent #2 before Sunday) the conversation moves onto "Will Tipp / Cork / Clare etc. be more equipped to deal with Limericks slow start" for example. Just feel media tends to throw the last team beaten to the wayside and think the ones that would be considered behind them, are capable of doing a better job.
    Also think we could improve our handpassing and make it more clear and obvious. It happens so fast, whether it's a legit pass or not it always looks borderline and maybe that could be improved. However Risk over Reward job maybe?

    Dont for get clare lads the only team to take them to the wire in 2022. Extra time in munster final last year.

      😂
      The teams had been level on 14 occasions, and Limerick retained the title for the fourth year in a row after a 1-29 to 0-29 win, nearly never bulled the cow, there was a trend.
      Made for great fun in the Clare terrace, as it should among neighbours, sadly in extra time, and after that day, Kelly’s roof collapsed completely, turned out Clare was a one man job, genuinely, hats off to him. 👏
      It would have been at least the snatch of the season, Clare came from behind with that sideline cut, absolutely spectacular, but the fact is it was Limerick who made history in August, regardless of who won that game.
      Best game in the world.

      No this respect to limrrick they beat clare by one point. In that munster final extra time. What i meant was clare were the only team to put it up to them. There was not alot between them. Limericj are a gteat side v good champions.. but clare are very strong this year. Nothing about them lately. There training in america lately. They look asome in training. Limerick style. Lets hope they meet againn this year. We would be in for a clasic.

      @@johnkearney7364 I agree, every time seems to be a classic, but I’ll put it to you this way, what if the shoe was on the other foot?
      If Kelly was injured and Lynch was fully fit that day?
      Or if Lynch was playing, and played well enough and Kelly was as he was?
      It would have been a completely different story.
      Do you remember how much Limerick beat Cork in the Championship last year?
      That was because of a fully fit Lynch, their margin of victory was markedly lower without him after that.
      The League final was won handy enough without a full team, I would argue that was again due to Lynch.
      TJ Reid was an immeasurable influence on the all Ireland final, and didn’t have to score once to be able to be by far their best player.
      Clearly, Kilkenny are just not the same without the TJ Reid of last season.
      Indeed, Brian Cody is already being missed, call it the Alex Ferguson effect if you will.

    Stand him up ta fook!!!🤪
    The only legal tackle on the man is the fair shoulder. The frontal charge is a foul.
    Refs can't enforce the rules because there would be too many frees. The "sport" is a joke Sarah, and the GAA lack both the competancy and the courage to fix the rulebook. You should have told the truth to your South African friend.

    • @colmcronin7306
      @colmcronin7306 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with ever part except standing an opponent so he drops the ball or over carries is a fair legit tackle. The issue is the opponents speed but its not always a foul.

    • @OnTheEdge86
      @OnTheEdge86 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@colmcronin7306 The tackle is defined as "any attempt to dispossess or reduce the advantage of opponent within the Rules of Fair Play. With the exception of the charge (fair), the tackle is aimed at the ball not the player."
      The fair charge is defined as a shoulder to shoulder tackle on a man in possession of the ball within certain parameters, and the rules of fair play is a short section of 11 rules that does not contain what you're describing. "Standing up" an opponent is not a hurling tackle according to the rulebook definition.
      There is no way to legally tackle an opponent from the front, and the ball carrier can't legally push, charge, or tackle at all. Players refs and fans all ignore the rules, the rules make no sense, the gaa know this but don't have the guts to make it a real sport that can follow its own rules like every serious international sport.
      Check the rulebook for yourself.

    • @OnTheEdge86
      @OnTheEdge86 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@colmcronin7306 There's a difference between what's legal and what's a foul, and that massive grey area is where the thing is played.
      It's a foul to hold with the hands, but top refs differ on what "hand" means. Some think it's the entire arm, some think it's the hand only.
      Players try to hold with the arms to avoid commiting a foul, but it needs to be a nice soft hug to avoid commiting a foul for rough play, depending on the ref.
      Is this a serious sport for adults, or even for children?
