Everyone knew what he was doing, but we all just went along with it so we could buy local.

When I was a kid 19 20 I had a 1958 oval window bug it was so damaged so I made it a Baja we put chains on it on the rear that thing would climb mountains like crazy until the driver side door opened up from the flex and then slam shut on my ear 5 stitches on my ear

My neighbor has a solid complete rag top oval. I have asked him for years to sell it to me. His answer is Nope. Driving me mad to see it outside parked on my street. That fire pit could be a cool project. Weld it up to look like a lotus petal.

I have mentioned to him put it somewhere safe so many times. Regardless of the offers he doesn't want to sell. I told him one day you might be hurting for money. Said, to him just walk three houses up with that title and I'll have a grip of cash for you by tomorrow. Regardless, looks like you got a pretty solid VW to work with. I subscribed to your Channel.
