      Funny enough
After completing this video, I found a slightly cheaper heat shield… which basically looks the same without the CTS logo 😅

Hi there, I really appreciate the Golf 6 R content. I find it really useful with a lot of great in information.
With this being said, I consider buying one and even if you could say that for this kind of car, fuel consumption is not something that an owner should be worried about , I would really like if you could make a video where you can describe the overall fuel consumption of the car, in different scenarios and speeds. From hard drive, to soft drive, to city and highway different at speeds.

That’s a great comment! Thank you!
Currently as the car has been tuned to stage 2+, it’s not ideal to give real world figures compared to one that is stock.
I can say, it is definitely worse than stock.
My journey to work is roughly 10 miles, and only consists of speeds from 20mph to 40mph. The MPG can be between 18 to 22.
On a long motorway journey maybe between 28 to 33.
It was definitely when the car was stock though 😅

What was the diverter valve they recommended? Did you say Rev G?

They recommended the Rev G over the GFB DV+ I have, but I will be doing some of my own testing soon to see if there’s any difference switching between the 2.

@@WhatThePun looking forward to see the results.. I have an Audi TT quattro.. BWA engine and before going stage 1 want to upgrade a few parts including diverter..

@@SuperSkillzSlick going to stage1 you wouldn’t really need to do too much.
BUT, a diverter valve definitely does improve how the car controls/holds the boost.
How long have you had the car?
Have you had your injectors and valves checked?
Be worth doing some maintenance before getting the car mapped too. 👍

@@WhatThePun yeah agreed but from what I can see the diverter valve as been in the car since 2011 so before increasing performance, I'm just upgrading parts that could fail even if only stage 1.

@@SuperSkillzSlick yeah that’s the best way to approach it
Just make sure your engine is at its best before getting the tuning. 👍
      Good luck! 🙏
