This is the first video I've seen that in which the TH-camr actually cranks the engine with the battery. The other videos seem to sound like "...yeah...I bought this thing...which does a thing..." and then there's no word about it afterward. You'd think this 30+ pound weight saving would be trumpeted from "all the highest towers in the land!" Yet...nothing. I think this idea is the bee's knees! I hope you update us from time to time on your usage of it and what YOU think about it. Will it stand up against a New York winter? What'll it do during a lake-effect snowstorm? YOU...are the man who can answer "these and other burning questions!" This is a superb video. Much aloha to you all out there!
Thanks bud. I appreciate that you liked this video. I agree there’s a lot of videos where they show the insulation and then you never see the results. I think I would like to do a video fabricating a replacement bracket as well as a video revisiting next fall
Thanks man I appreciate that! For how much I struggle and fight to lose weight on my cars this is the easiest 40 pounds. I’ve ever pulled out of a project.
Very awesome thank you for taking a look. I was happy to help him with that project. Hopefully you enjoy the Contant. Almost done rewiring a 500 in.³ big block for my crew cab square body that swap will be very soon.
one battery trick my lil brother did was use a lawn tractor mower battery on a Plymouth K-Car instead a reg car battery and use it for like 3 months till he put a reg car battery by putting bolts and nuts on the top post cables that came with the car.
I don’t see where you’re coming from on this. My battery was leaking. A replacement is $250. This is 299.99 besides the fact that no one carries cash anymore so your wallet literally not lighter. Ignoring that the differences about 50 bucks last time I checked $50 bills like what an ounce. lol
That’s going to be an awesome addition. I’m going to look into a optima quad 920 battery for my Virago bike project.
Go for it! Heck, yeah brother they make smaller ones too

Lunar, how do you convert motorcycle terminals into "posts?" I'd like to set this up for a 1965 GTO. Thanks for your videos!
Fitting a lithium (LiFePO4) motorcycle battery into your car is easier than it should be.

lol really!
My buddy who custom builds alternators always needs to know what type of battery the customer is using, and how many.
I can only imagine that’s for real race cars that need as little windings as possible to produce whatever cranking they need or absolute insane rigs
Saved even more with your empty wallet lol
