When you replaced the old charging port did you have to connect any of the old wiring from it to anything? Did you just cut the wires going to it?? Any other mods to the existing wiring system? Thanks

I love lithium batteries, but I also fear them at the same time. They’re like a nuclear bomb when they catch on fire and people keep their e-bikes in their house like I do. It’s a little scary.

The wires that went to the original charging port I just taped and zip tied them up out of the way. I did no other mods to the wiring on the cart.
