The US tour has finally started, and I'm getting used to living in America little by little. It's sunny here and it feels good! On a personal note, today is Japan time and it's my birthday. It's early This is the second time I celebrated my birthday on an overseas tour. Happy to spend time with the members and the BAND-MAID team again. Everyone, please continue to support BAND-MAID! Alright! 10/9 was my first appearance at AFTERSHOCK FESTIVAL 2022, and I had a very good experience, and I had a very happy time! It was the best outing I've had in a long time! I played with a very fresh feeling. It's thanks to everyone who's been supporting me that I've been able to do my best so far. Thanks guys. And 10/12 is the first day of the US tour! I served at the Neptune Theater in Seattle. The indoor vocal performance was amazing... I was overwhelmed by the loudness of the cheers here. From the moment it started until the first half, I almost cried lol I was so happy that my heart tightened. KAMAMI told me after the show that MISA had a painful expression on her face, which actually made me want to cry. I talked about it. smile I can't control my emotions, let me out! That's live! I feel. I'm really looking forward to the time when I can speak out as a waiter in Japan. The day after the live is over is an off day The members and I found natto on sale at a Japanese supermarket in America, so we all bought it and ate it! The rice was cooked well and miso soup was prepared, and I felt Japan. smile Japanese food is full of power. Of course, I also enjoy American food! I enjoy eating steaks, mashed potatoes, sweets, and other delicious foods that are different from those in Japan every day. I can't describe how grateful I am for your sharing this concert ( the whole latter half without skipping a moment!) with us. The show is absolutely mesmerizing and the audience is freaking good! It has everything from great music and funny moments to heartwarming exchanges between the Maids and the crowd. The best video of the year!

Yeah same guy was at Seattle. There's a few guys I see at ALL their concerts. One Japanese man said he's been to every concert around the world. Maybe when I retire... 😁

The last band where I loved all the songs in their discography is Led Zeppelin -- 2nd, BAND-MAID. That's it. Concert-wise, this is the first concert where I felt genuine love for the band -- the type of love one would have for a child's recital. I really enjoyed myself this night. All the girls were so entertaining, just by being themselves.
I must say as well...thank you for doing this...for us Maids fans that may never get to see them...not to mention that point of view...I felt the show and will be watching this frequently

I discovered BAND-MAID in 2020. When I found out that in 2018, they were here in San Francisco and the venue was a 30 minute walk from my house, I was pissed!!! I am sure they're coming to the UK soon -- because, World Domination!
OMG! I hope that they do tour Indonesia! You really have to see them live. All these uploaded TH-cam videos do those shows no justice. Seeing them live is a god-tier experience.
Thanks for this. Sounds really good. I was at the Seattle show and that experience plus this footage shows how hot they were right out of the gate. The Misa b-day ceremony was great. I was really impressed with Saiki at our show, but this footage shows how on fire Miku was. You can really hear her guitar AND vocals, and man, she is one of the most unique characters in the history of music. There has never been anyone like her. And I guess that goes for all of them, actually. So special.

Someone asked me why am I sooo into BAND-MAID, and I told them that there is no else like them in history. BAND-MAID sounds like BAND-MAID; moreover, they constantly produce albums every year, and all their songs are "S" tier. No one makes an album every year. I think the last person who took albums seriously was Prince. Yes, I heard other rock bands all over the world, but they all sound tooooo familiar or just a carbon copy of legends, like Greta Van Fleet. I played a GVF song for a friend of mine, and I told her that R. Plant and J. Page made another album. She's a bigger Zeppelin fan than I am (she has seen them so many times in the 70s), and she thought it really was Plant and Page. ha ha ha ha ha... I can go on about why BAND-MAID is so special and unique, but I'm sure you've heard everything already! ha ha ha.
Big fan of Vlad Chupins videos, been watching obsessively. Agree with everything you said, this band has impacted me immensely. Their is a Seattle Show Review video on Wave Potter Films channel, an interview with my friend and I is so the beginning. Apparently the Maids have seen it, and I am so touched that I was able in a small but personal way to convey my love for them. Wish I could see more shows! Your clip sounds great!
There were 2 people who were standing next to me who was at Seattle, and they told me that the energy was the same. They're going the LA and San Diego show. The venue was smaller in SF, so maybe that's why the sound was better. BAND-MAID is using rented equipment, and I think they rent different equipment in different states. I was talking to a roadie after the show and he told me that he is responsible for equipment's logistics in California, and then he flies back to Japan after San Diego.
I'm really glad that you enjoyed it. If you haven't already, you need to see them live. I'm surprised I was able to hold up my phone that long! My shoulders were definitely soar the next day, but the footage is sooo worth it! I replay this video while I'm working for the audio.
You're so welcome. Yes, BAND-MAID is a very unique and special group of artists who are true to themselves and who are not trying to be anything they are not -- and the quality of the song writing and composition is soooo consistent! They really are amazing!!!

It really was. When you see the other fan uploads, you can see that BAND-MAID really changed things up and shows kept getting better and better. Wished I were at the Dallas show and the New York show.

Yes, a very unique band. Love how fearless Miku is. She will not let a language barrier get in her way of connecting with people. It also helps that the band is highly skilled at composing fantastic songs too.

Agreed!! There have been so few live performances we have seen. This really helps get the word out!! Ladies deserve an arena tour next time. No band this good should be limited to festivals and garage tours no offense. Akane is my new master though, just saying. 🤘🦊💕
Every time a band comes to Oracle Park in San Francisco, I can hear them all the way from my house 4 miles away. That is the gift I want for San Francisco -- to have BAND-MAID to play at Oracle Park so the whole Bay Area can hear them!!!

Miku's beauty inside and out is other worldly. She's so funny and talented too. She's literally perfect! Can you imagine getting to be her bf/husband? Well I can dream anyway.
I recorded some parts of the concert earlier, but there were so many little things that they keep doing in between sections. After the "Magic Time", I did not want to miss anything else -- so I just kept recording. I was planning on editing and cutting the video into 10 min parts, but I don't know how to edit. My arms were hella sore the next day -- but soooo worth it. BAND-MAID gave me STRENGTH!!!

Yes -- the chant is literally "Adorable Adorable -- Cute Cute"! Pragmatically, I have no idea what it really means, but it is definitely a Japanese thing. It's up there like "dude" or "bruh" -- the meaning of those 2 words change depending on the intonation or the situation.
OH, I really enjoyed the concert! Believe me! I had a great time!!! I held my phone way over my head because the person in front of me was way taller than I am, so I can still see the stage. I was really close to the stage. My only regret is that I missed recording all of the 1st 1/2.

I saw my first rock concert in 1978 and saw BAND-MAID in LA in 2019 and this was the most fun I've ever had at any concert!

Sounds like the audio was much better and the crowd had more energy in SF compared to Seattle.
There were 2 people who were standing next to me who was at Seattle, and they told me that the energy was the same. They're going the LA and San Diego show. The venue was smaller in SF, so maybe that's why the sound was better. BAND-MAID is using rented equipment, and I think they rent different equipment in different states. I was talking to a roadie after the show and he told me that he is responsible for equipment's logistics in California, and then he flies back to Japan after San Diego.

It really was. When you see the other fan uploads, you can see that BAND-MAID really changed things up and shows kept getting better and better. Wished I were at the Dallas show and the New York show.

Yes, a very unique band. Love how fearless Miku is. She will not let a language barrier get in her way of connecting with people. It also helps that the band is highly skilled at composing fantastic songs too.

Every time a band comes to Oracle Park in San Francisco, I can hear them all the way from my house 4 miles away. That is the gift I want for San Francisco -- to have BAND-MAID to play at Oracle Park so the whole Bay Area can hear them!!!

I recorded some parts of the concert earlier, but there were so many little things that they keep doing in between sections. After the "Magic Time", I did not want to miss anything else -- so I just kept recording. I was planning on editing and cutting the video into 10 min parts, but I don't know how to edit. My arms were hella sore the next day -- but soooo worth it. BAND-MAID gave me STRENGTH!!!

Yes -- the chant is literally "Adorable Adorable -- Cute Cute"! Pragmatically, I have no idea what it really means, but it is definitely a Japanese thing. It's up there like "dude" or "bruh" -- the meaning of those 2 words change depending on the intonation or the situation.

OH, I really enjoyed the concert! Believe me! I had a great time!!! I held my phone way over my head because the person in front of me was way taller than I am, so I can still see the stage. I was really close to the stage.
My only regret is that I missed recording all of the 1st 1/2.
