#Short BAND-MAID San Francisco 2022 - People I Met after the Concert
The people around me during the concert was awesome. Mark, the person with the pick will be going to Los Angeles and San Diego. I was standing in live with Frank since 4PM, and we had great conversations -- (I know that in the short that I made it seem like I just met him, but he and I spent 6 hours together.

Honestly I don't know how to edit videos, yet. I successfully recorded "Play" and I really wanted to capture "Freedom", but someone bumped into me because it was just getting wild and my phone stopped recording. BUT I was able to capture the energy of the crowd. I missed the beginning of when Misa and Kanami got into Akane's grill.

This is the 2nd half of the show. Misa has some mic time, and we all sang her Happy Birthday. Afterwards, I could not put my phone down. I figured since Miku never takes a break, then I will not either. I didn't realize that Saiki left, so that means that they will be playing an instrumental. "From Now On" replaced "Onset" and "Without Holding Back". When they started to play "Sayonakidori", we all looked at each other hoping for the best for Miku to hit that high note. Getting goosebumps just re-living that show - thanks for capturing and sharing - it's amazing how good they sounded! Worth standing in line all day in the c-c-c-cold SF street just to hear these 2 smokin' songs. (Esp. the "Alone" solo!)

So awesome to go to a show and have some dope in front of you with his phone up the whole time. I understand wanting to document the awesomeness of Band Maid, but there are other people at the show too. By the way, I was about 10 feet to the left of you in front of Misa.

Saw these incredible artists in DC and Boston….. Misa cracks me up….she is killing it and was hidden in the show I saw. She is dope as well as the rest up the upper echelon of this band.

Yes, the SF show was sold out within minutes in May or March. I forgot when I bought tickets, but it was definitely on an "M" month..
They are ordinary cute little Japanese girls in plain clothes, but how big and energetic they look on the stage! I'm also glad to spot Misa, the tech staff, in front of the bus. I'm sure this "BEAT THE STREET" bus made it possible for BAND-MAID to complete this US tour safe and sound.
That bus looked very comfortable in the inside. Maybe next time BAND-MAID tours the US, that bus will be wrapped with BAND-MAID decals with huge diesel trucks carrying their gear. I wish that much success for them. They truly deserve it.

Ya, BAND-MAID would still kick ass without Saiki -- but Miku's determination to have Saiki join the band was a great move. I really admire Miku's brilliance. Saiki is the difference-maker when it comes to all the other outstanding J-Rock bands out there.
I already miss the days of the MISA chants, and she came to the mic and said: " I AM MISA"
She has to change it up now and then. She has no idea how awesome she is.

It really was. When you see the other fan uploads, you can see that BAND-MAID really changed things up and shows kept getting better and better. Wished I were at the Dallas show and the New York show.

Yes, a very unique band. Love how fearless Miku is. She will not let a language barrier get in her way of connecting with people. It also helps that the band is highly skilled at composing fantastic songs too.

Thanks for this. Sounds really good. I was at the Seattle show and that experience plus this footage shows how hot they were right out of the gate. The Misa b-day ceremony was great. I was really impressed with Saiki at our show, but this footage shows how on fire Miku was. You can really hear her guitar AND vocals, and man, she is one of the most unique characters in the history of music. There has never been anyone like her. And I guess that goes for all of them, actually. So special.
DUDE!!! Have you seen the other footage of the US tour??? They just keep getting better and better. It's inspiring! Someone asked me why am I sooo into BAND-MAID, and I told them that there is no else like them in history. BAND-MAID sounds like BAND-MAID; moreover, they constantly produce albums every year, and all their songs are "S" tier. No one makes an album every year. I think the last person who took albums seriously was Prince. Yes, I heard other rock bands all over the world, but they all sound tooooo familiar or just a carbon copy of legends, like Greta Van Fleet. I played a GVF song for a friend of mine, and I told her that R. Plant and J. Page made another album. She's a bigger Zeppelin fan than I am (she has seen them so many times in the 70s), and she thought it really was Plant and Page. ha ha ha ha ha... I can go on about why BAND-MAID is so special and unique, but I'm sure you've heard everything already! ha ha ha.
Big fan of Vlad Chupins videos, been watching obsessively. Agree with everything you said, this band has impacted me immensely. Their is a Seattle Show Review video on Wave Potter Films channel, an interview with my friend and I is so the beginning. Apparently the Maids have seen it, and I am so touched that I was able in a small but personal way to convey my love for them. Wish I could see more shows! Your clip sounds great!

this year the sound of the band is not as good as previous years even at first they sounded better, I'm not saying it because of how they play but because of their team since the new operators are not very good at that job, in miku that is denoted too much before she used marshall p consoles with which she listened infinitely better, also the comments from the fans this year are quite cold compared to previous years. also it should be added that now the shows are much shorter than previous years a half hour shorter I hope that in the new tours this changes in a good way and they return to give us a good live show as it was a few years ago

@@JerryGoNuts Me too, it's the first time I've heard it I'm pretty sure! The beginning is so ethereal, is like you're being taken into another world. I was there in the SF show and I got goosebumps legit. Band-Maid is simply the best

I'm going to check later to see if you've got anything from the first half of the show there... I'm think'n you do... Thanks again!
