Hinkle was the one who opened her trap and has to deal with the consequences. She wasn't excluded for being a Christian, she was excluded for being a piece of crap who expects that she can say anything to anyone because of her religion but no one is allowed to disagree with her.
@ Ashlyn didn't call her out for not wearing the jersey, she called her out for saying the team wasn't inclusive to Christians thereby insulting not only all the Christian players but also the players who have always accepted their faith.
Also, it has everything to do with the sport, just this week AD Franch was a victim of homophobic and racial abuse on the field. As long as that happens, it's part of the sport because the players need the protection.
Hinkle can say whatever the fuck she wants but that means she also has to deal with the consequences. "Don't dish it out if you can't take it. Or better yet "your reap what you sow."
@ What? She was a disruption and no she wasn't good enough. She wasn't even a regular call up and Crystal Dunn wipes the floor with her.
@ By who? The media? Anyone with eyes can see that Crystal is better. Besides even if she was the best player she still shouldn't make the team. Creating a world cup winning team is not just putting the 23 best players together, it's about creating a team that believes in each other, Hinkle clearly isn't suited for that. You need to be the best and be a team player, Hinkle is neither.

Hinkle was the one who brought religion to the team, she was the one to openly criticize gay marriage (way before the whole jersey thing even happened which she could have handled way better), she was the one to say the team wasn't inclusive to Christians. Also a soccer team isn't just business, if it is they don't win, that's one lesson in sports management for you. She was discriminating an entire group of people and claimed she was just exercising her right to freedom of speech but when anyone else exercised that same right to not agree with her she claimed they were intolerant.
Can anyone explain why the women's national team deserves equal pay when their demand of equal pay will result in less revenue for both the sport and teams? Thanks in advance!
Richard Meyer Considering you’ve made this comment on the last 3 videos, that I saw, I’m assuming you’re trolling and not looking to have an actual conversation. If I’m wrong and you truly are curious, then a quick google search will provide you with loads of information on fair pay legislation as well as the fact that the USWNT operated in the black, while the USMNT operated in the red.
The USWNT does not have a demand or revenue problem. They have a sexist spectator problem.

Back again, huh, Richard Meyer? Your loaded "question" assumes this is a zero-sum situation--where the men and women are competing for limited resources. But paying the women equally will actually help grow soccer's overall audience and playing base--which is good for both the men's and the women's game. Many fans (like myself) watch both.
