That new hurricane motor is gonna be in at six. Pack is already starting to have head gasket problems so I’m not too worried about it being faster than a scat because it probably won’t be able to stay on the road.

Sometimes I think I might just go back to Chevy and get a Camaro SS because they're cheaper in price, get more power for your money and they're not hot cars amongst the car thieves. Camaro and Mustangs are just right to the point and simple looking without all the flossy stuff.

I respectfully disagree w/you on SOME things. 2023 WAS indeed the last year they produced......THAT particular Bodystyle of Challenger & Charger w/a 6.4 or 5.7. As for being able to aquire them in 2024-5 is because they're sitting, doesn't change the fact that they're STILL 2023's. Lastly, I've mentioned b4, People buy these cars for different reasons. Many GenXers, buy them remembering the 70's, had a aunt Suzie w/a Charger or a Uncle Jerry w/a 1971 Challenger, we'd actually SEEN these cars around, a Nostalgic appreciation. Younger cats buy these as a flex. Your AVERAGE Challenger/Charger owners don't buy cars to flip, many don't have it like that. As an early 80's baby I've been keeping with these muscle cars especially the Charger since the days when I use to watch the Dukes of hazard as a child. Our generation especially the ones older than us are more concerned about getting a good deal and the quality of the car and engine. At 41 if I get another Hemi it's going to be my keeper for the rest of my life that I'll drive twice a week or something.

I've probably had the spare coin to try to make a "profit" on a car for maybe only the past 10 years. Of all the cars in that time that I was tempted to snatch (and could afford to pay cash for it), only *ONE* turned out to have been a big winner. Even the Cayman GT4 ended up not being a profit maker. The only one that did: the Acura NSX Type S. Folks its is rare, RARE in the extreme to make a large profit on a consumer grade car, no matter how desirable (Porsche is consumer grade).
