The mast printer is just awesome. It's got a really simple design that looks like an apple product. I am sure they designed it that way to appeal to you. The fact that it is portable is makes it even better. I like that its very simple. a power button and a feed button with 3 light indicators. The roller installed on the machine is rubberized and makes the paper fit tightly to make sure that the stencil made will be perfect. I am not a big fan of thermal printers since I always made my stencils by hand and also used inkjet stencil ink. The problem with handmade stencils is that it takes really long to make. 5-30 mins depending on the design. The problem with inkjet stencil ink is that if you don't use the printer often, it will clog the print headers. If you try to run head cleaners or power clean on your printer, it will just ruin the printer. So I think I am sold on thermal printers now.

This printer is really awesome. I do think that inkjet stencil ink is easier to use but the maintenance is really annoying. I have ruined 2 ecotank printers using stencil printer inks. Don't get me wrong those products are great if you have a shop that prints stencils every day, however if you don't tattoo everyday then thermal printers are the way to go. Plus its portable.
