i’m trying to find something small and ink-less so that i can print my daughter’s homeschool curriculum. do you think this would be good for that ? i’ve been doing my research and this one seems to be the easiest for me to understand, i’m just not sure if it’ll be good for curriculum ?
Not knowing what/how much you need to print specifically, makes it difficult to answer... but I can tell you that this thing is great, and was very easy for me to setup/use. As always, I recommend buying via AMZN because of the easy return policy if it doesn't work well for you.
@@techiesportsdad my daughter is 3 so she doesn’t need much yet compared to an older child who would need workbooks etc, maybe no more than 100 pages per month or so? full color, sometimes most of the page is color. i’ll definitely be buying it from amazon because of the return policy, im just praying that this is something that could work for us
what will happen if i leave the prints under the sun? or in a hot car?
Generally speaking, if you keep it in the printer, you should be ok... If you have the paper exposed in those situations, the paper will likely fade or turn grey, even black, from the heat. Im no expert on this, just what I understand to be the case.
I got mine today but the margins are huge they're like 3 inches on each side of the paper I can't find any settings to correct this I see you don't have this problem on your printouts what am I doing wrong?
It would likely be the Page settings of the document you are working with... so you need to check what the margins are on that.
sounds like you might be printing an a5 document on a4 paper? in print settings, you can change the size to 'fit to paper size'. that should fix it :)
is it o?k to print ebay ship labels or too sensitive
I think it would probably be fine to print onto a label, but you may want to test it and simulate lots of rubbing just in case that occurs during shipping. Obviously don't want to ship something and have it get lost because of this. And as always, if it doesn't work... return it to Amazon.
Will the printed things last for a long time before fading?
Not sure what you mean by "long time", but if you are looking to keep for more than a few years, this is not the solution. Also, keep from heat/sun because thermal print will fade. These are great for quick and easy things you plan to keep for shorter term in my opinion.
Our works, but I still find the mobile device method less than obvious :-(. Easy peasy from a real laptop.
Agreed, laptop makes it much easier but often you may find it more important to print from Mobile... and I agree, they could make the process far easier.
It will print, but it’ll disappear just like your store. Receipts, department store receipts after a few months.
You could scan your documents that you made with this device and then scan them on an ink scanner
I just received it today and tried printing a boarding pass and other things with QR codes and it worked wonderfully! Im glad not to have to deal with color cartridges anymore
Great feedback, thank you for sharing that!!
