Air flow is down, not up, which I believe is how you did it. Simple to determine. The dirty side of the old filter was the top side. This can only mean one thing. Dirty unfiltered air comes in from the top and flows downward.
Check out my other video for updating the service hietory mate. K&N air filters are no good; they are more porous than the stock air filter and they don’t provide extra power (as the stock air filter is already very good on the M2).
Hey man, great video! Do you know if it’s the same process for the M2 Competition? I gotta change mine soon and can’t find any videos for the M2C in specific…
Keep up the good content👍🏻💪🏻
Much appreciated and will do!
Great video again mate😁
Thanks a lot mate!

Yeah good point, makes sense!
Agree the old one was installed wrong
This video was super helpful. I just did it on my M2! Such a ridiculous process though just to change a filter😂😂
Glad to hear buddy! It’s a bit of a hassle yes haha
How do you update the service history? Also thoughts on K&N air filters?

Thank you man but its not easy specially after lunch 😅

Exactly the same my man. Thanks for your comment
@@TheHunterHofman Used this video as a guide when I did it myself. Thanks 😁
Thanks, it was very helpful.
Glad I could help buddy
Weird how the arrows are opposite between original BMW/Valeo Mann filter and aftermarket purchased Mann filter.
Yeah, or the old one was installed incorrectly. Both weird scenarios!
Getting the cover put back into place is a bitch lol
Haha agreed, it is a bit fiddly
Is this the same procedure as for the X2? GF has a 2019 X2 and, bolts that need removing from first piece removed seem different. Thx
Yeah very most likely mate. Almost all (BMW) cabin air filter are located in the same spot, behind a similar panel. Go for it!
Hello, concerning the airflow direction, was this after all the correct one? ( pointing the front of the car?)
The arrows on this filter have to point towards the front of the car
@@TheHunterHofman thank you! Just installed mine while looking at your video
@@delaboyomagazine5345 nice! If you could subscribe and check out my new video (that will drop in an hour time), that would help out a lot!
Thanks for the tips bro.
Thanks man
Anytime brother
Hunter what is this gimmick in the airflow labelt with BMW? 5:30
That’s the animation the iDrive does when it resets 👍🏻
@@TheHunterHofman hahah no the bmw natural air refresher google is my friend ;)
Thanks !!
Good content, however, I’m struggling a bit with your intros. They’re quite intense 😉
Thank you mate and I appreciate the honest feedback!
The intro is cringe worthy…
great👍👍👍
Thank you

Ik geloof dat BMW daar intervallen voor hanteert ja, ik dacht om de 20.000 km, maar zou je even aan de officiële dealer moeten vragen
Nice. Gaaf filmpje. @whitebmwe90
Waardeer het, dank!
