This is so wonderful, informing Ricco's fans of these possible behaviors and I especially like your pros and cons Ricco video. It's so great to help potential bird owners help become responsible and happy birdy parents!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. I’m working on one as we speak. It’s just so sad to see how many are being re homed here in Canada or other places for that matter. I mean I’m all for a pet being in a better home that can provide what it needs, but there are way to many out there. Also on Facebook there are so many comments on people just bringing home a baby bird and not knowing what to do. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still learning myself, but I definitely didn’t jump into anything without proper research. The only bird that kind of fell into my lap was my rescue, but I believe I was meant to have her because nobody else could handle her. I constantly get people asking me where can they get him from and what kind is he without any knowledge of birds whatsoever, or why isn’t my bird talking? It’s more painful than anything, because chances are that the bird will be re homed. So I think it’s important I make a video about that. So sorry for the long comment, just had to share that 🤔. Hope you had a fantastic day 😊
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn no no! Its okay. I agree on all points. If everybody could just realise having a pet no matter furry or feathery- it's a HUGE responsibility and commitment. I had mentioned my african grey that flew off i had had him ? 5-7 yrs before that happened I miss him still. But he was very very needy and would scream if I walked away from his cage even though he was not caged unless it was nightime. People get a handfed parrot and all it knows is that person like mama and then it's re homed cause the novelty wore off or they lose interest. So good of you to inform you are doing all the birbs in the WORLD a favor by educating future bird owners and society the pros and cons before they just rush into it! Oh I found Angel Frank and the racoon whisperer thank you very much. Ms. Frank loves her Angel just like you love Ricco! Have a great day girl, and give Ricco a cuddle from Ann!
I really hope and pray that your African grey found a loving home. I have seen it before that people do find lost birds and try to find the rightful owners without any luck and they do take great care of them Hope this is the case for your baby. I’d love to have a grey and macaws, but those are totally out of my league, it’s best I stick to what I am familiar with lol. Thank you for always being so supportive. Have a wonderful day 😊.
I just adopted an IRN and I'm glad I read up on the species before hand. Obi is definitely in the bluffing stage. We'll work through it.... none of my other species of birdies do this... it's interesting... thank you for the info ! ~~ Love from Lakeside ~~ Phoebe
Aww congratulations on your new IRN. They do tend to go through it more so than any other birds, hopefully it won’t last to long with your little one 😊❤️
Thanks for giving examples of the bluffing stage! I have a year old IRN, who recently started with these actions. I wasn't sure what Chiquita, was trying to tell me. She just starts putting her head down slightly and then opens her mouth, as if she is trying to stick her tongue out. She recently started to flutter her wings slightly as well. She has never tried to outright bite me, but I wasn't getting a warm fuzzy feeling either. She has her own issues though, which make her even more flighty than most IRNs. At 3 weeks she was removed from her parents, only to be stuck in a bin, by herself for 2 months at the bird shop. She is afraid of other birds, and even her own reflection in the mirror. She will let us help her, if she is on the ground, but at all other times she is very stand offish. About a month ago, my Dad, ended up in the hospital, and I was really sad about it and crying. She came down near me, but acted as if she wanted to comfort me, but didn't know how. Your video, helped me greatly in understanding what she is trying to tell me! So Thank you!
So sorry to hear about your dad, hope he’s ok now. Chiquita sounds like she could also be hormonal from maturing as well which also causes the bluffing stages, they almost go hand in hand around this time of age. Try to be patient with her, hopefully this faze will pass. I did video about hormonal behaviours and how to deal with it, it also will help with the bluffing stages. th-cam.com/video/VmtRRCIqgyQ/w-d-xo.html I also have many more in my playlist about 2 parts of body language that may help you as well. Wishing you all the best.
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn Thank you! Yes, my dad, is much better and out of the hospital. You make a good point about maturing and hormones. I am sure it will pass, but I am glad I know what to look for and what it is. I will have to check out your other videos, as this one has helped greatly!

Ouch that’s sounds like it was painful. Chico was pretty awful as well, but I really think it depends on there personalities to begin with. Distraction of toys and other things is also a great way. Oh Trust me sometimes Ricco has gotten my lips and I just want to scream, but hold it in lol. It’s a difficult time for them and us. I’m just glad that Ziggy had you, unfortunately in many other cases they are just left to live out the rest of their lives stuck in a cage because of these behaviours. I try my best to educate others about the not so cute side of birds as well in hopes that it helps. Thank you for watching and always supporting, I really appreciate it ❤️❤️
I'm dealing with 3 at once. My female is bluffing the most.... I'm leaving them to decide when they want to be loved.... I'm leaving their cage open when I can. The males go in and out on their own. Love your videos ! Wanted to ask a question: for someone working full time would you recommend a ring neck ? I’ve been considering getting one but not sure if night time play is enough ? Also on weekends Ofcourse
Thank you 😊 It’s interesting you asked this question, because I was just working on a video about reasons why a Indian Ringneck parrot may not be a good bird. One of the reasons was if you have a full time job, the reason being is that they are not like budgies or even lovebirds for that matter where you can have a life lol. With Indian Ringneck parrots I find because they are so active and social that they quickly go back to becoming wild after left for long periods of time alone. They may even end up resenting you for it, they also will scream murder out of boredom lol. It can even get worse depending on the bird and start to pluck. Have you owned birds in the past? I’m also on Instagram if you want to DM me. The link is in my bio.
Just thought of something, you could also go on the parrot forums snd ask other owners, or on Facebook pages that are exclusively for Indian Ringneck owners. You might be able to get a feel more from other owners just to see. I hope it helps.
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn Thanks for you reply :) When I was younger I had a budgie but because I lived at home with parents, they never allowed the bird inside. Because I was younger I didn’t make much effort to train the bird etc. other than ringnecks I was thinking of either a cockatiel or a conure
@@vinncent5008 I would say you might best to do your research on all three and see what would best suit you and your lifestyle . It really depends what you are looking for in the bird. They are all so different. I still think budgies are amazing in such little bodies, they have so much personality and less destructive. I had a male who talked up a storm and had such a huge personality, I would definitely get one again, they are really underrated. I also had lovebirds, they are adorable and so cuddly with such personalities as well. They really don’t have the talking abilities like other birds do, but they sure make up for it in so many ways. With any bird I’d recommend either getting one that is 6 months or younger, or adoption is always an option. This way you already can tell the personality of the bird. I hope that helps, Good luck.
Aww thank you 🥰. So Ricco is a Indian Ringneck parrot, this is the average size that they are. Could it be another type of parrot you are thinking of, like alexandrine parrots?
Aww thank you 🥰. He is a green pied Indian Ringneck parrot, which is a colour mutation. So he will not get the black ring and his eyes will not change either. I actually did a video on what type of Ringneck parrot he is in my playlist, I had so many questions about him lol. 😊
Hi! I dont have an Indian Ringneck (yet) but i do have a green cheek conure, does the bluffing stage vary on different parrots? I brought home my 4-5 month old gcc and he was doing so well, he was very sweet and cuddly. About 4 weeks later he started attacking me out of nowhere and started shredding everything.
Aww congratulations on your little gcc. All parrots can go through the bluffing stages, just ringneck parrots are more prone to it. Is it spring where you are from, if so it could be hormonal but he’s still very young. Try to think of anything that could’ve caused this behaviour. It could very well be the bluffing stages. They sometimes will do this when they are settled in and comfortable. If it is try not to react to this behaviour, but you still want to interact with him. Sometimes it’s just best to walk away like nothing happened and let him calm down for a bit. The worst thing to do is overreact. They will try to dominate you if you allow them and become difficult to handle, how you deal with this now is very important because it will affect how he will be with you long term. I hope that helps. Keep me updated 😊
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn !Update! I figured it out. The reason he's aggressive is because he is going through his first molt and he's very grumpy about it
@@paxtonthegreencheekconure6955 That’s amazing, at least it’s not the bluffing stages. A molt will definitely make them cranky and moody. It’s always such a difficult time for them during a molt. I do have a video in my playlist under educational videos for pet birds, hopefully it can help you out. I hope it’s not to bad for him, is this his first molt?
for some reason my 2 ducks which i have as a pets had a bluffing stage, i had no idea that is possible and called it just puberty, but now i see its real, but no one knows this about ducks bcs they have it just for meat or eggs haha
It takes time for them to build trust. Try using treats and food to build trust and always talk softly and move slowly. I have a video in my playlist under educational videos for pet birds on how to build a bond with a bird. Hopefully it will help you.
My bird has been in this bluffing stage ever since I got him. He was 5 months when I got him and now he’s 7 months old. I don’t know what to do since he’s biting and drawing blood. Is this the bluffing stage or something else. I need help if anyone has any advice. He has not learned to step up and will only get on my hand if he flies onto the floor. Hell get on my shoulder and play bite my shirt and hair but he wants nothing to do with hands. This isn’t my first bird I just don’t understand what’s been going on with him. Thank you if anyone can help!
It does take time to build trust, are you paying attention to his body language before he bites. Birds usually bite to communicate with us, so understanding why will help. Also as difficult as it may be it’s important not to react to the bites, in fact if you push into turn he will start to learn that the bites won’t work. Have you tried positive reinforcement with his favourite treats. For example when wanting him to step up and if he does reward him with a treat.
My female ring neck started biting me all of a sudden but she will still perch on fingers and stand on my shoulders but will proceed to bite me there. She is 1 year and 5 months old so I’m not sure it’s the bluffing stage or not.
Sounds more like she just wants something to chew on or could be trying to tell you something. Can you give her foot chew toys when she is doing this. She may just want to chew on something. Just make sure it is safe for her to chew on, parrots love to chew.
I would definitely keep them separated for awhile. Also it takes time and patience to build trust. Use treats and foods to gain trust. Just take things slow. I have a video in my playlist called how to bond with out bird. Hopefully that can help you.
Is your parrot afraid or aggressive? Either way it takes time and patience. Always use treats and food to let your bird understand that you mean no harm. How long have you had your bird for and does your bird come out of the cage?
My 18 month ringneck bites me but its only playfully bite she never bites hard but I've seen ringneck bites that have been severe there beacks are like razor blades.. By the way rico is adorable he looks like my own one 🙏❤️
Aww thank you ❤️ it’s sweet when they do this, but try not to get him used to it as he will think it’s ok as he gets older and the bites definitely get harder as they mature.
My 4-6 month old white-bellied caquiue is going through this now & has become territorial to his food because we have him out of his cage. He I have printed on my husband as he was the person that picked him up. I forgot about the imprint scenario so now my bird has become his bird😔☹☹
So sorry you are going through this, especially when they change. It can be a difficult time but just keep trying. They do try too become dominant and that’s not what you want because it can get worse if you don’t correct it from now. Have you become frightened at all around him, they can sense that and will feed off of this. When it comes to bluffing it is just a faze and it will pass, but how you handle him now can affect how his behaviour can be long term.

So sorry to hear about what you are going through. It could be caused from the new bird, hormonal or bluffing. Do you keep them in separate cages. Also is he attached to you and seem jealous of the new bird?
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn yes we do keep them in separate cages , he tried many times to play with the new bird but the new bird bites him and keep running behind him to hit him he is really attached to me i had him since he was a baby idk i really want them to play with each other if i leave them unsupervised the new bird will hit him so bad till now we have been keeping eye on them so they don't fight and hurt each other do u recommend i keep them in different rooms
@@arandomhuman_ Is the new bird a female? Either way it’s best to keep them in separate cages. It may be a good idea to put them in a separate room as well because they should go through quarantine time, just incase the new bird has any illnesses. It will also be easier to work with each bird separately and in time slowly introduce them again.
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn we actually don't know what gender of the new parrot really , we left the new parrot in a separate room for a few day's then we started introducing them to each other but then we asked around and they told us to keep them close like their cages we did we treat them equally so no one is left out or feels jealous
Loved this video!Had so much good information! I have a quick question:Do they only go through 1 bluffing stage in their whole life time or is it something that will happen once in a while? I have a baby indian ringneck that's 2 months old and I'm trying to understand the bluffing stage as much as I can so that when it's time for him to go through it I will handle it the best way there is. thanks in advance :)
Thank you 🥰. For me personally both my Ringneck parrots only went through it once and they were ok afterwards. Bluffing and hormonal from breeding season are two different things and sometimes people get the two mixed up. So chances are you will notice your birds behaviour change somewhat every year during spring time when they are hormonal. It can last from a week to a month or more. Every bird will act differently during this time, my Ricco just gets more sucky and wants to be with me all the time. Some become aggressive, but just ignore this behaviour and it will pass. I did a video as well that’s in my playlist for the hormonal change due to spring. Hopefully that will help you more. Good luck with your little one, it’s great to see that you are getting prepared in advance 😊

@@KalTheCuler So it took me over 1 year for Ricco to fully trust me and allow head scratches. I would always move slowly and talk to him softly when trying to pet him. He would always warn me and try to bite so I would stop until eventually Ricco started to trust me. Try using treats or food while training him to trust you. Try to pay attention to his body language and eyes when you are trying to pet him, if he is showing you he doesn’t want it stop and try again later. If you continue he will end up biting and it will make things worse. It just takes time and patience but your bird will stop biting if you just pay attention to his body language. Ricco still will warn me if he doesn’t want me to touch, I always respect him and don’t force him. Otherwise you will ruin the bond and trust you have. Your bird is still young, give him time and he will come around 😊.
Mine did change just like that . ..she's so aggressive over her cage and so mean to me ...she changed over night .....I'm.struggling to even get her out of her cage and I feel horrible ..I can barely freed her she was hand fed .she's gone absolutely crazy and it's been a month ...idk how to help and handle her
So sorry to hear, it can be upsetting when they do this. Don’t take it personally, it’s just a thing they go through. The best thing you can do is not give up on her and stop interacting with her. For now I would respect her cage area if she has become territorial over it. I would suggest using treats and food every time you go near her cage and just leave it somewhere that she can see it with the door open. Just talk softly to her and don’t force her to do anything she doesn’t want to. It’s just a faze she is going through, but if you react to it it will just get more difficult for you. Do you have a flat perch or a perch at the opening of the cage door? I would recommend putting one there and sit in front of her cage with a treat or food, that way she will need to come out of her cage to get it from you. Over time have her come closer to you until you can get her to step up. It will take time and patience, but don’t give up. One day she will change back again. Most people give up on their bird around this time or stop interacting with them, but it really is the worst thing to do. Make her understand that you are not going anywhere and everything will be ok. Remember her hormones are all over the place. Do your best to just act as you would do in the past, they can pick up on our feelings. I hope that helps, keep me posted.

Also do you know if they quit talking around this time she literally quit talking around when all this started she's perfectly healthy there's nothing going on with her but I do hear her talk every now and then more than she was so she's starting to kind of talk again and she does scream when I go out the door so she does want my attention but then when I give it to her she's mean
@@thepsychicsleuth7 can you tell me more about her, like how old she is and how long she has been doing this for. Also is it spring where you are or is she molting right now? So many different things could be causing this and if it is spring and she is bluffing it’s almost double of what you would normally get. Indian Ringneck parrots are known to go through the bluffing stage much more than many other birds. Also did you have the other birds before her or did you get them after? Does she come out of her cage at all on her own? I’m almost wondering if she has picked her cage as her nesting area and has become territorial over it because of this. They also can sense if you are afraid and will try to dominate you, but you also don’t want to yell or get angry at them. @@sdog325 Sounds like it was from hormonal. They usually become more aggressive or moody around spring/summer time. Glad to hear things are going back to normal.
Hey can you help me out I just bought a ringneck bird when I met him in his old house I could pick him up and wasn't scared as soon as I got it home he is super aggressive and bit me
Congratulations on your new Ringneck parrot. Your parrot will need time to adjust to his new surroundings and your home. Imagine if you were brought to a an familiar place. Take things slow with him and give him time to settle in and adjust. Rushing him into doing anything he is unsure of will brake the bond you are trying to create. Food is always a great way to win a bird’s trust. How long has he been at your home now and is he in a new age as well. Make sure to also place the cage in a spot that he feels safe in.
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn it's only been two hours now since we arrived here and I tried to feed him but he put his head down in a attacking position even when I left it in his cage he was eating aggressively but when he bit me the first time it wasn't hard it didn't hurt but I got scared and pulled my hand back
@@Gameplays-ld1ns If you just brought him home give him time to settle in. Try not to bother him to much for now. He’s probably scared and stressed out being in a different home. Just leave him for a bit to relax. I would avoid putting your hands in the cage altogether for now, just sit with him and talk softly. Offer him food through the bars or somewhere that he can get it himself without your hands. Also over time pay attention to his eyes and body language to avoid bites. He’s obviously scared and this is why he’s biting. You don’t want to make it worse and make him really aggressive to you. Just let him settle in and rest, let him adjust before anything. He just needs time 😊

Hi my baby parrot is around 4 months old … and I feel he started bluffing quite early not usual… he used to be so cuddly… he had been hand fed by me… whenever i leave home he doesn’t want me to leave… I love him but i had too… he is dominating n demanding for d time.. no matter how much time I spend with him in my capacity.. its not enough… my main problem is he doesn’t want to be in cage at all n if he is alone he doesn’t eat too … if he is in cage he becomes too restless…. N tire himself by running in d cage I feel he ll hurt him that too without eating… I don’t know what to do… plz help.. Regards
This doesn’t sound like the bluffing stages but more so like he’s become very attached to you and doesn’t know how to be independent. Does he bite you or is it he just doesn’t like being by himself? I did a video about how to bond with a bird and in the ending I did mention to be careful not to over bond because the bird will become very dependent on you. You need to teach your bird to play by himself at times and not be so needy with toys. Try leaving the tv or radio on as distractions to start. The problem is he looks at you as part of the flock. When you put him in the cage give him a treat and try doing it at the same time every day so he starts to get used to it, eventually start to lengthen the time. Even if you are home he should have time to play with himself when you are busy with toys or just relax.
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn yea he does bite me… and not like being alone at the same time..he wasn’t aggressive when he was little… I still pet him even when he is pinning his eyes… he doesn’t want to be alone for a second if I leave d room he calls few times then fly … I don’t know y he feels insecure … as suggested by many I give him 12 hours sleep which is in his cage but I feel he doesn’t want that… He started off being grumpy in d morning but now he bites me or mom whenever he feels like little authoritative.. but needy too… only problem is when he has food in d cage still not eating coz nobody is around… it’s difficult to understand his behaviour… n yea he is quite picky too with his food… kinda fussy
@@coolestone7747 Is he pooping in the cage or when you take him out? His poop is a good indication that he is eating, maybe you are just not seeing him eat. As far as biting goes, try to pay attention to his body language, he could be warning you to stop petting him and it’s important to do that so it doesn’t become a habit.

Wanted to ask a question: for someone working full time would you recommend a ring neck ?
I’ve been considering getting one but not sure if night time play is enough ? Also on weekends Ofcourse
Thank you 😊
It’s interesting you asked this question, because I was just working on a video about reasons why a Indian Ringneck parrot may not be a good bird.
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn Thanks for you reply :)
When I was younger I had a budgie but because I lived at home with parents, they never allowed the bird inside.

@@Riccothegreenpiedirn thank you! I will definitely do this.

My one does be so sweet than evil
My parrot is untamed. I’ve had him for 3 days. Tips? I also have a female. I have had her for less than 24 hours
I would definitely keep them separated for awhile. Also it takes time and patience to build trust. Use treats and foods to gain trust.
Just take things slow. I have a video in my playlist called how to bond with out bird. Hopefully that can help you.
How old was he in this video?
Do you mean when he went through the bluffing stages, if so I explain that in the video.
How to make parrot friendly
Is your parrot afraid or aggressive? Either way it takes time and patience. Always use treats and food to let your bird understand that you mean no harm. How long have you had your bird for and does your bird come out of the cage?

So sorry you are going through this, especially when they change. It can be a difficult time but just keep trying. They do try too become dominant and that’s not what you want because it can get worse if you don’t correct it from now. Have you become frightened at all around him, they can sense that and will feed off of this.
When it comes to bluffing it is just a faze and it will pass, but how you handle him now can affect how his behaviour can be long term.

@@Riccothegreenpiedirn thank you so much for advice! 😅 it’s just time doing it then

@@Riccothegreenpiedirn thank you so much for replying to me I almost total mess over her.. I feel like she has gone crazy... So then you are saying that this is bluffing and she hasn't regressed to being wild lol oh I did get a ladder someone told me to try that so I was going to try that I don't have a flat perch right now I do go and talk to her at her cage and she puffs off at me sometimes when I walk by her cage she growls at me I can barely put her food and water in now because every time I go in she goes up and down the cage like she's going to attack me when I do give her a millet or something she lunges at that but she's always been really rough with her anyways she's always been aggressive over her cage but this has gotten way worse and I feel really bad that I just I can't get her out and my other birds never went through this I know that Indian ring that's are different but my conure and my lovebird are so easy to get out of the cage that this is quite the experience last time I put my arm up like I usually do outside of the cage for her to come and get on it and yeah she just came over and started lunging at me and of course because she's bit me before Mimi bleed I jerked back it's just I try not to jerk back with her and it's just something that happens but I mean every time I go by her cage I do talk to her nicely I'll have to try some of the things that you're saying I'm going to keep working with her it's just I hope that she's not beyond repairs what I feel like...
The female rescue who I took in was also going through this, but liked me for some reason. She did bite me once or twice, but never again after that. Try to give me as much information about her and I’ll do my best to help you out.
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn I appreciate your help she's about a year old I had the other birds first but they're never together just because I don't know it makes me nervous I mean she's clipped but the others aren't... She will usually come out and gets on my arms and then I bring her out but she won't do that now she just wants to lunch at me it is springtime where I'm at right now I'm in California so it's middle of spring I think we hit summer in June I'm in May right now and she just hit a year old I got her last mother's Day... I actually have not been able to get her out of the cage recently so she hasn't come out recently because all she does is lunge at me and when I try to feed her and stuff she runs over to where I'm feeding her as if she's going to attack me now I don't yell at her I actually start crying because I love my bird and she used to be so cuddly when she was a baby and then now she's just kind of a monster...
I've honestly never seen her really molt I am getting some food that's for hormonal birds and stress birds she doesn't seem to mind the other birds like I said they don't interact or anything I do have my green cheek conure next to her in a cage like I was hoping if I put their cages next to each other eventually one day they could be together but I've just been too scared to allow it but they they're okay they don't fight anything through the cage they're fine I have my agree to Chris he was all so hand-fed she was hand fed as well
Mine has been in her bluffing stage for 5 months
I believe it, it can drag on. Could it also be a combination of hormones?
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn I’m pretty sure
@@Alexx38294 Have you tried changing foods or environment. Ricco is also being hormonal and was screaming non stop for no reason what so ever for almost 2 months. I’ve removed certain foods like grapes that are high in sugar and warm foods. I also make sure he gets at least 10-12 hours of sleep. What’s her behaviour been like with you?
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn mine does the same thing! It seems to help a little bit when i keep her fed all day. I don’t believe her last owner fed chop or anything at all. I have given her a ton of toys, and I also try to keep her busy all day. Keeping her busy helps also. I’ve had her for like a couple months her last owner said the bluffing stage started around September. Her cage did have happy huts which I think made her really hormonal so I’m not sure if that would last this long.
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn it’s really hard but I’m really trying to help her and stuff. She bites really hard every chance she gets. Draws blood like crazy, it sucks but she is really cute 😆
What about ring neck hitting the beak on objects ?
Is it from a playing gesture or a warning? Ricco does this but it’s when he’s playing and gets excited. If your bird isn’t acting up otherwise it could just be a playful gesture.
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn I do have other birds but it will do it away from them in another room and also make load screech noises as well
@@sdog325 has your bird just started doing this? Does your bird bite or has become aggressive just recently?
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn want to say has been doing it for a while now but also been aggressive in earlier in the year but seems more calm now
@@sdog325 Sounds like it was from hormonal.
He just needs time 😊
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn ok sweet thank you 🥰
@@Gameplays-ld1ns No problem. Keep me posted 😊
Lord, who would hit a bird? Or any animal. I am sure there are some who do, but if that is something they would do, they shouldn't get a bird, or anything else 😪
I agree 100%.
am i able to wear a glove when it happens?
I don’t understand what you mean, sorry.
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn i also have another question though, are females more aggressive than males are?
@@cheesehair2988 I did a video about this in my playlist. It’s called myths about Ringneck parrots that are not true.
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn oh okay thank you!
@@cheesehair2988 No problem
mine tries to fucking kill me
Oh man 😂
Mine did this and killed 2 birds. :(
Oh no, so sorry.
@@Riccothegreenpiedirn she got along with all my birds, mated with my male budgie and groomed and cuddled my cockatiel. Then one day I came home to a dead budgie (my female budgie). She bit her foot completely off and as I was out I couldn’t save her. She then disabled and killed another budgie through a cage. This came out of no where and now she’s in a separate cage. She is sad as she was bonded with cockatiel and loved her cage but I can’t risk it. They still play together supervised and I have forgiven her and will still love her.
@@xx8298 Oh no I’m so sorry, you must’ve been devastated. Unfortunately they are still wild and it can happen with any pet.
It’s great that she is still loved and able to spend time out supervised with other birds. She simply did what they would’ve done in the wild, it’s unfortunate that the other birds passed away. It must’ve been so heartbreaking for you. ❤️😢
What is your parrot name and make or female
Ricco is a green pied Indian ringneck male. He is a rare colour mutation.
