- Me and all my kids had a blast today also had a guy and his kid show up and run with us today what a blast we had 💯the 3s line up today was something we haven’t done in awhile you could see the rust fall off my sons driving today he is definitely rusty with control but the rc took all of are bad driving today for the most part thanks for watching 💯💯

Calibrate the EPA and make sure all your settings on transmitter are turned up..Were you driving on 50%-75% throttle switch or something? Lol..Dude just go watch the videos..These rigs straight up fly and you own a big rock so you know Arrma 3s rigs do 50 plus..Not one time in the history of the RC world has rustler 4x4 been faster than a arrma 3s rig stock out the box lol..Why would Arrma's new speed basher be slower than all the other Arrma 3s rigs? Lol
Man can’t believe that when I say it might feel faster up top your on it like I say it soooo slow that nothing of what I said at all and the few minutes I drove it was at the end of the battery life as it’s my daughter rc not mine as long as she loves it that’s all that matter and her thought will come in the next video 💯💯💯
That’s funny that people are actually comparing the Vorteks to the Hoss/Granite/Big Rock. Clearly different types of RCs, especially in terms of ground clearance. Vorteks seems more comparable to an E-Revo / Rustler.
It’s the parts on it more than 50% parts are the same 👍

Just had my grandson come to visit and haven't seen him since he was 1 1/2. Now 7 and made sure I had a typhon mega 4x4 ready for him on his birthday. And I have the 3s. It gave us a chance for him to get to know grandpa. I will miss my rc buddy when he goes back to Florida Saturday. Always nice to have some one to run with, little kids or us big kids. 🤭

I didn’t like my granite at first either. Once I got how it handles, i like it now. So I get it. CANT WAIT TO SEE THE VIDEO!
Things are bomb proof too. My friend drove his full tilt nonstop bouncing off walls and hitting skate ramps then drove it off a massive cliff 3 times with no breakage. I was blown away when it drove away from the 3rd cliff jump, it had to be 60+ feet tall

I feel same way about brcc , after watching everyone love praise v2 brcc I built it with 4s system 17mm hexes and I still don't like as much as I did the granite . I need to get a arms from the v2 and mx33 possibly new clutch assy , but than its like double the cost , least liked arrma forsure.
Is the granite better that the rustler? I have an rustler 4x4 and Im not sure if I want to buy an vortex, bigrock or granite

VORTEKS for me
I like the speed runs and build videos but I love it when you get your kids involved and there’s no pressure. Let the kids bash and give their opinions on the vehicles they use. Everyone else (RC TH-camrs) compares the Vortex to the Rustler because I guess they’re both stadium trucks and their dimensions and driving characteristics are similar. Keep up the good work

Thats a nice line up there for a day of bashing. I bought a hoss last yr it is fun to bash with,I put a 4s esc in it , jumps like a champ with a 4s lipo.

What a fun video! I was thinking of the Hoss before I got another Arrma. But-up here in Canuckistan- it’s almost 200 Canuck bucks more than the Arrma line of 3Ss. I decided on the Vorteks with upgrades for less upfront cost. 🤷🏻♂️ it worked for me. Always liked the Max as well; just more expensive than other trucks in its class. Cool dad you are!
That was one fun video to watch! Your kids are good rc drivers,and they jump good to! My 9 and 14 year old boy and I are running tomorrow. 2 baja reys,one Granite max10 3200kv, limitless max8 2000kv surpass, and 1 dromida 18mt.after market esc and motor, its a screamer ! Waiting on stock for replacement frame for my outcast 4s 😔

The mighty bigrock will be king of the 3s bashers for sometime it will be great to see what will take it's throne in the future but for now i like my vorteks and love my bigrock 😁

Hey buddy just sending you my opinion on your setup on all your cars you need to lower the stiffness on your shocks those things are standing up so tall they should be much lower and much more smooth you won't break things as much

Poor granite my son would love his own 4x4 granite if I could afford one I have couple 2wds but he hates them cause they can't go as fast or go over as much since only 2 of the 4 wheels are pushing the vechile ya no...
Awwww poor dude just needs to learn how to correct!! The Granite is so much fun once you learn how to drive in general! Yea it's a bit squirelly, but eventually he'll get it :)
Most people like the Granite. Skill level displayed was not too high. Give it back to peanut when he learns some stuff.
Its impossible the rustler is faster. Stock is 43mph vs 55mph in the vorteks. I didnt see much diffErence you should drive the rustler/hoss and vorteks to truly know how you feel about them. Seeing them run vs running it are two different things. The rustler seemed more squirly in the air. The hoss had trouble getting speed to get air time same for the rustler. The granite i have no clue ur son seemed to hate it badly for some reason lol
I've seen 55 with standard gearing and @Tomley got 61 with the optional pinion.
