Bo Jackson was the original cheat code but then Michael Vick became the second with this game. All my friends would abuse playing as Vick worse than Vick abused those dogs. Man, did you see the cannons on the Buccaneers cheerleaders? Had to be bigger than the ones on the ship. 81 on the Bucs needs more targets, don't let him become a Diva receiver because he will. I LOVED the training camp mini games. Ending the video just as you should with Chainsaw taking it to the house. This is one Madden I actually never had. Growing up I had Madden 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009. Some awesome memories with them all. I agree that 2005 is probably the best but 2004 had a big foundation in it.

I never played Madden 2004 (have it in the GC collection though), but it seems like it definitely was the stepping stones to the best installment, Madden 2005. What’s here still seems really good though! Of course TC would be a custom player here lmao! Great review man! Loving seeing these sports games reviews, as your knowledge base really shows here!
Reply 2. A lot [not all] of the game play complaints are a combination of individual player skill and slider settings. I haven't finished tuning simulation sliders on my channel yet [because I have been side tracked], but I ran a tournament last year [2023] that had solid sliders/settings that still need some tweaks.
Nice review 🔥🔥🔥 2004 was good but Madden 2005 was the top of the mountain for EA Sports... Also Vick was broken in 04, I remember my homies playing Falcons VS Falcons back in the day & running backwards 30-50 yards just to turn around & scramble for a TD 😂
The GOAT Madden. Idc. I literally mastered the gameplay. Love playing with the historic teams the most. Pretty much named all the teams and edited the players.

The way you talked about Michael Vick being a cheat code is how I always felt about Drew Bledsoe and Ben Coates in Madden 64 as a little kid. I'd just play at The Patriots and dominate everyone because if I went for a 30 yard pass to Ben Coates he'd catch it at least 1/3 of the time.
Reply 3: On the Xbox, the NCAA 04 import draft classes are corrupted. EA knew about this and supposedly would replace your disc if you sent it in. So, there are some copies out there without the problem, but the roms you can download and your typical used copy in the wild is likely to be part of the bugged mass produced batches. If you have a version that doesn't see corrupt imported classes, please look into ripping the game and hosting it for the archives, as that is a rare disc.
Reply 1: Pat and John never had banter in the game. I have a Madden 2002 series on my channel, the last game Pat and John worked together in and what you claim is demonstrably untrue. In real life? Sure. In the game? No.
