Dredge the American river up near Placerville, CA. by the Alpha & Omega mine tailings piles. Right about the end of the inside bend of the river there. I regularly pulled a quarter ounce average per day from there. Black sand is little pay-off compared to having a river, a dredge and a sluice doing your work for you. Always got enough gold to get a hotel room, a steak dinner, a tank of gas, beer, ice, bullets, some entertainment time sitting at a slot machine up in Tahoe. Cool, Truckee...plenty of interesting towns through there. Gold fever is real, gold becomes your every thought. You don't expect to get rich at all. The wealth is in the being out in most beautiful nature, the fun of the hobby, the dreams, the excitement of finding a nugget. It pays *just* enough to keep your hopes up! ha ha! Even made up for time away from work.
Bears and criminals are the only problems. I carried a lever action .44 Magnum rifle and a Dan Wesson .357 for the criminals and a can of spray for the curious bears that I love too dearly to shoot at. "Go on, big furry fella - I aint got no lunch for ya!" Ha ha! I smile even now, thinking about how them bears scurry off if you just wave your arms and shout at them! Bless their hearts. The equipment was paid for within 9 months, It probably paid for my new Chevy Blazer, too. I met many good, rough honest people. I would hand a local a hand-held CB radio, set the channel and have my emergency line...buy him or her a dinner and drink when I got back. I did hear-tell of a feller getting his hip waders filled up with that ice-cold river water, going numb, couldn't fight any more, drowned in two and a half feet of water. There was a very fancy four star restaurant right off of I-50 that I would coffee-up at. Waiter hand-roasted, hand ground and percolated a pot (fine silver) just for you, stood beside you the whole time there, towel draped over arm. Silk doily on the saucer. Bone porcelain china, fine silver tableware. I'd hand him my dirty rusty beat-up old Union Carbide thermos that grampa used fishin' salmon in Alaska back in the 40's. The Maitre D' asked how one holds their little pinky out while sipping from the tin cup thermos cap. Great times. THAT, my friend - is the wealth one gains from prospectin'.

Bill Cosby ha ha!! That’s funny! Early 80’s and such, ya know. I bought my three HK’s there. Model 91, model 93, .45 compact. California used to be a bit sensible still. Some parts of California - the people don’t pay much mind to the commie filth wretches - or their hatred of constitutional freedoms or the like. There’s freedom for those that TAKE it. For those that command it. I earned it in Grenada and Honduras, wouldn’t have some freak having any say in it, either. It’s common in them parts still to this day to be prepared out in them parts. I ignore laws that are illegal anyway. Better to maybe offend some Frisco freak than to set myself up to be a victim.

Next time you get a bucket of concentrates put take black sand and heat red hot with torch and throw it in water. Sometimes alot of the gold is coated in an iron oxide. Heating red hot and quenching in water breaks outside oxide coating leaving visible gold. Heating also converts hematite sand in magnetite sands which can removed with magnet.

Try using a button magnet to draw the iron pyrite
"Black Sand" away from the gold. Gold as you know
is not magnetic. So in theory you should be able to
attract the iron without attracting the Gold in the mats.
Worth a try at least anyway.

    • @mikewebb8321
      @mikewebb8321 3 ปีที่แล้ว

I think I heard another youtuber say that it will pull some of the fine gold with it. Not because it's magnetic tho, it's wet so the gold sticks to it maybe or possibly gets trapped between the sand particles when they connect cuz of the magnet

I built a set up that is similar with a nugget trap before the gold catching trays . my trays were on a 24 degree angle with just an old wool blanket no riffles . fly screen gold down to 200 mesh . tried gold hog riffles was not as successful as with the wool blanket for fine gold . cons are a lot cleaner then this fellows

What if you had a funnel like bucket that had a pipe blowing water upwards for wet materials or a vent blowing air for dry materials. Then at a height above this agitated material a strong magnet to separate the magnetite from the gold before running the gold bearing sands .

    • @tombourne7184

The rarity and the fact just liked diamonds, the worlds governments and corporations hoard it. There are actually TONS of diamonds that if released would drop the value of your $10,000 wedding ring to $50 bucks, the businesses hoard them without release in order to keep demand and price very high. Classic population manipulation, the downfall of the human race. Greed, power, and luciferian doctrines, the absolute golden weapon of the United States illegal deep state military industrial complex just as Eisenhower spoke of. Most of us that are awake and see the brainwashing the intelligence agencies are doing through media like CNN and MSNBC have seen this for quite some time, while also seeing and understanding the reason Donald Trump is so wildly attacked at every turn with lies and lies and lies, bc he is AGAINST this deep state and globalist plan to create a one world government. Bush Sr. and Jr, Obama, and Clinton have all been on tape talking about this plan put into motion DECADESm potentially centuries ago which is where the Illuminati conspiracies come from, yes they were real, however they are no longer called that, they go by many names now, Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg group. These secret societies control EVERYTHING, and all information. They also control the most important secret human kind has ever kept, the secrets behind Extra Terrestrial visitation. President Eisenhower met with these visitors shortly after WWII and discussed concerns they had regarding nuclear weapons. Our scientists did not understand at the time that the effects of a nuclear explosion LITERALLY rip into other dimensions, these visitors since have shown their capability to literally SHUT DOWN our ballistic missile capabilities, and also launch them all by themselves. They have also on a few test launches been seen literally flying beside these missiles and circling them shooting a laser like weapon at all sides then darting off before the missile loses altitude and blows up. LINK TO SHORTER VERSION OF DISCLOSURE TESTIMONY:th-cam.com/video/QhuOMnHhFB0T/w-d-xo.htmlhey will NEVER allow us to use those weapons again, our very survival and potential ERADICATION depends on not using these weapons. Everything I say here is directly from the mouts of whistleblowers from the military and government. Here is your links if you would like to here these testimonies yourself. Oops, got off subject there didn't I? lol...owell disclosure needs to continue.

Gold priced thru paper mkts that are manipulated and controlled by LBMA...Gold an inflation hedge from a weak dollar....Loading up on physical gold and silver now while prices are manipulated at these low levels may pay off some day in the future....Bond mkt yield curve may be inverting real soon and the manipulation of all assets thru expanding money supply may come to an abrupt halt soon...Gold and silver a must own when this happens...Guns and freezer full of food not a bad idea either..

Stay out of debt..Equity loans are based on fake money but they, the bank , basically are putting a lien on your house at the time of signing for your equity loan. They give you fake money , they get a real asset if you fail the terms of the loan....Sell at the peak mkt...Any capital gains put into Gold.....Very risky still..Gold may not do what we all are hoping it will do...But Im taking the chance and have been a stacker for the last 5 years...Good luck..

I'm having a hard time getting the sand out of my gold.. I got all the magnetite out and was left with a large amount like you had from very little. The stuff I heavy but it's not as pure flour gold like yours was.. it's full of sand and even gold panning this stuff is so fine I cant get all of the sand out.. it's around 50 % or more gold to 50% sand dust.. can I just melt mine in my kiln and the gold would settle into a button?? Best I could do after panning and I sucked up the gold and sand with a sniffer bottle to collect it. I didn't the hard way... gold pan water and a n52 magnet, then I panned as much sand out as I could and was left with a good amount but its filled with some sand.. I have 40 pounds of the gold loaded magnetite left and I only used less than half a 8 oz cup of magnetite its gonna be some work... I got mine from someone at a mine who doesn't wanna waste time with flour gold.. but this stuff is packed!

How much work and how long did it take you to earn that approximate $140 dollar's worth of those 3.25 grams. This was based on the price at $1240 an ounce which it was Friday 10-19-18. Considering that spot gold is priced at .999 purity, you gold dust will be worth even less. I was assuming that the 3.25 grams was just the first half. So, if you double it to $280, it might not be too bad of a haul for a days work. But if all you got for all that black-sand then $140 is not worth it at all for the amount of labor you put in hauling that dredge sluice around.

What's a quarter oz of impure gold-dust go for? Maybe $300 max? In 4 days of beach work and 2 days of home work? That's $50 a day? You can make more than that with FAR less work operating the register at the nearest 7-11. :p If you get a half oz that's $100 a day (maybe) and now that's the same as the 7-11 clerk is making. In reality however, there's likely no way you will get $1200 for an ounce of gold-dust. More like half that. So the numbers are really more like $25 a day to $50 a day. :D

sand from being caught even though each run you will lose some gold to tailings...by the end run you would have gotten most of the gold.

@Proletariat From a quick Google search: "Each liter of seawater contains, on average, about 13 billionths of a gram of gold." Over (a long) time, the waves deposit the heavier gold particles onto beaches all over the world, so much of the extracting process has already been done naturally. I don't pretend to know much about the topic, but I would guess that the black sand has a property that allows it to collect more gold particles than are washed back out. It's a very cool concept, but it's too bad I live on mudfront property. :D

Why is everything always have to be pinned to money which is just a piece of paper. Very SAD
