“He’s young and white so I’m also a black panther” 😂😂
Makes perfect sense. I'm in love with Shuri a little bit.
race baiting in my opinion and disrespectful to his mom, because she's assuming the worst
@tim conway hahahaha, LET'S HOPE NOT!
Desirea Winton It’s just getting old though, given the social climate these days. It just seems tone deaf and especially the pedophilia part at the beginning. I’m all for off-color comedy, but she seems to think that this kind of racism is a real, major issue.
kamite 1 ?
She has great comic timing, love her use of uncomfortable pauses for effect. Can’t wait to see more of her comedy
same, and I'd like to see her with a better crowd cause I bet she tears it up.. deserves a higher like ratio on this, too.. this set is a great comedic example of rolling with the punches 💯
Lol she's been around since I was a kid. Like Kevin Hart and she started at the same time!
Comedic* timing
She does to perfection
exactly, perfect timing it works ... sometimes the pause adds to the comedy ... Love her
She has an extremely expressive face. I feel like I'd be missing a lot if I just listened to the audio
You couldn’t see her lip plumper! 😵😀
Yea I generally just put on some comedy and listen to it while doing something, bad decision for this.
@@iminmissouri8589 I do that WHILST (?!) walking on the beach in the dark after a LONG graveyard shift at work: usually the Joe Rogan podcast or a comedy special or some junk :D
I just did u right
Wait is that you in your profile pic? If so then you should definitely start cosplaying cuz you literally have a superhero or anime character type face! It would be a waste not to...
“She gave me this lip plumper...”🤣
lol so I saw the comment and when she got the part I paused it and googled lip plumper
@@shahdokaOfEgypt Black people have big lips already and do not need lip plumper! LOL
I accidentally bought some lip plumper thinking it was lip gloss; i was so happy that my really plump lips didn't get more plump
@@katlegoeluw8556 lol, wow
I thought it was so cute of the mom and hate that she made a joke about racism from it because that ruined it for me.
"Do I have to explain why that was inappropriate?" 😂😂😂😂
Lmao 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Uh. Uh.
That was so funny😂
“They knew I was coming...they put their stuff away” that deserved more love 🤣🤣🤣
What stuff is that about?
I suspect the muted laugh was because the crowd wasn’t sure what the precise gag was. They were probably thinking ‘does she mean they put their valuable stuff away or their borderline racist stuff away?’ You never want to overexpose in comedy, but this probably needs to be more specific to get a bigger laugh.
It's multilayered. Everyone puts their stuff away when guests come over, it's called cleaning up. But it also has the other meanings. It's a very good joke.
I’ve seen her tell this joke multiple times and it never gets a big laugh because it’s unclear what she means. If it’s a reference to ‘everybody’ putting their stuff away when guests are coming, then why that look after the joke? Good jokes are clever and specific, but it was as if she hadn’t worked this bit out enough. I think she’s great but this doesn’t work.
Yeah I didn't get it. Then I thought do they think she's gonna steal it? But that's a terrible joke.
"I heard you're not supposed to do that"
That's so cute.
Spent the entire video thinking that her bf sounds utterly adorable lol bless his heart.
@@ZariDV SAME
Fr! 😂 at least he knows what’s up lol
I was in a swimming pool and my in laws are white and they were splashing everyone and when it came to me, they knew what was up.
I appreciate that they knew. 😆
Lucky, my white friends dont know as much, but my black friends know, they just do it to annoy me
She keeps jumping between hood and awkward and I love it
Yes
What is hood?
Hongo Like unprovoked aggression or micro aggression over little things
@A. Banana I'm sure you've got a point but this girl does move a bit awkward
@@Hongobogologomo It's the cloth hat attached to your sweatshirt.
That happened to me..I was 36..divorced black mom with 3 kids. ...he was 27, white single and no kids...I met his mom, she wanted cooking lessons, lol

@@michelemiller3798 No, only a year. I got married a few years later
So who approached who?

@@sandradee9193 wow. That took guts. Kudos to him. I've always liked older women but at the same time I've always been intimidated by them. Lol
“When the economy is bad I date white guys” lmao
She's a perfect example of a real white supremisist. She isn't funny, and she's only being pushed because her attitude makes good race division propaganda designed to get whites and blacks at each others throats.
Mr. Anonymous or maybe it’s you know, a joke? Lol
@@thellama3239 It's no doubt amusing to some, and she obviously wrote it into the script of jokes, but as I said, she's had the rocket boosters attached to her not because she's so funny, but because of the material's contribution to the current effort being made towards creating racial division
Mr. Anonymous Comedians making jokes about race has and always will be a thing. It’s a sensitive topic, so that’s why good comedians can make you laugh talking about it. Not just race though, comedians always are talking about all sorts of controversial things that divide people. Is this your first stand up comedy you’ve watched? I can give you some recommendations of comedians throughout the years so that you can learn what jokes are
@@thellama3239 The issue isn't with controversial subjects being tackled through jokes. The issue is the sentiment of the joke, and its affect. It's definitely you who doesn't understand good comedy, comedy which breaks down barriers and brings people closer together.
She says she's older but... She looks like 25?
Maybe he's 23.
She look about 43 to me, I'm guessing he's about 30
She is 34
As they say, Black don’t crack lol. My wife’s side of the family all still look young as hell even grandma 😂
adam zarbon bro look at the cosmetic market, you think white women aren’t using moisturizers? Just saying, most 50 something white women looking like they’re in their 20s-30s have had work done lol
The delivery on "they comin'" was absolutely 👩🏾🍳👌🏾
So according to Google, Marina Franklin is currently 35. Description says this aired back in 2011 so she was 25/26 at the time. I HAD to look it up, because i'm over here like.. she does NOT look cougar age, at all lol.
But at the same time, if the boyfriend is like 18-21.. then yeah, I could understand her feeling that way.
I mean, I'm 27 myself and I don't know if I could see myself seriously dating anyone younger than like 22.
I’m same age as you and I feel like I can barely relate to people under the age of 21 lol
25 is not a cougar. She is barely a milf even. 35 is getting there but true milfs are 40. 25 is a young adult.
Eh when I was 23 I dated a 40 year old woman
@@LegacyFTW that's because getting beyond fucked up on your 21st birthday is an enlightening experience that separates people

I love youuuu
She's really funny! I like how she plays with stereotypes & real situations. Like her younger white boyfriend being fascinated with her hair but didn't want to touch it, "No, I heard you're not supposed to do that!"
Parp
So true!
I've never seen this woman before - she is fantastic!!
In case you didn't get the wet hair joke, our hair shrinks when wet. Like really shrinks. Her hair being wet would be like one-third of its length.
thanks. i ve been looking for the answer
@@raymahmed3224 🤣🤣🤣

Did not know that! I've never been around my black friends when their hair was wet & hasn't come up in conversation. Makes her boyfriend's comment even funnier, "Is it supposed to do that?" LOL!
There was an episode of Golden Girls about older Black woman dating Dorothy's younger White son --- episode was called "A Mixed Blessing".
I remember that episode!

“I like the little ones”
That woulda came off a lot weirder from a male comedian lol
Edit: too many of y’all arguing and taking this wrong.
It’s funny. I think it’s funny. I think it would also be funny from a male comedian. I just think the comments and or media reaction would’ve been abit different.
i still looked at my phone sideways when she said it 💀💀
I'm surprised it got less attention. She fit that in nicely

I like her smile and her sense of humor of course. She's got a distinct style in delivering. Very funny.
"I gotcho baby boy." That crazy look in her eye! 😂🤣I had to watch that over and over!
"I got your baby boy!'' My Mama, Oknow the Serene, would say, ''I ain't takin' him back, he's your problem now.''
I was told this: “never touch a black womans hair.”
Black people In general, consent matters, don't treat them like objects/slaves that you can touch without permission and you'll be fine
Hows about just don't touch anyone's hair. When I was early 20s (long curly blond) construction guy- middle aged and elderly women groped my hair or arms randomly. It was awkward. It's unecessary
@@joshcarlton9184 between 17 and 24 I had long hair, too. And when I worked on construction sites, the regular bricklayers made fun of me.
When she was in middle school, a white girlfriend had long root beer colored hair and all the black girls wanted to touch it. In Asia, you never touch anyone's hair. Rule #1. If you don't know the person, keep your hands to yourself.
I think the expression is don't pull a black girl's wig or weave.
"they comin" 😂
She seems like a fun person to hang out with

People who don't understand how comedy works.
I mean laughing with people that are different than you is a great way to come together.
This comic and so many others are creating an atmosphere where we can just enjoy each other's company and tackle some pretty serious subjects in a way that is playful and non threatening.
Once we can start to communicate we can all start to heal, respect each other and grow together as a community.

I hope they happy and both families respect their relationship
4 minutes in and the way she said "White people bring salad. *PAUSE* *Head movement while saying* that's niceeee" and realized the amount of sarcasm in this wasn't appreciated earlier.
I've found one of the perks in dating a black American has been confirming her family's stereotypes by gifting them mayonnaise. I'm from a country that legit treats mayo like cultural heritage so that just kinda happened on its own. I'm thinking of steering into it tho, might switch to brylcreem next.
@@CorporateG0th oh my god 😳😂
Reminds me of T'Challa at SNL black jeopardy 😅 "aw hell no Karen! Keep that bland-ass potato salad to yourself!"
@@CorporateG0th american mayo and european is different though . american mayo is gross and bland
I don';t think she was being sarcastic there though. I think she's more poking fun at the concept of food deserts, and saying ok at least white people bring salad bc you can't find a single vegetable in the hood. Which is also kind of class commentary at the same time.
I was the only one with a car in our group at college, so I would drive people home at holidays, we all lived near each other. I was dropping my stuff off at my Irish grandmother's for the semester break and we went in and I introduced this great friend of mine a beautiful black girl. S o I introduced her as my girlfriend she nearly fainted. We all laughed.
Definitely one of a kind story...
