In the first toy the sound chip worked for a short time when power was reconnected, overheated then stopped working. Funny how you could disconnect the power so the chip cooled so it could play again but it was definitely destroyed at 10v. Variac pops are always funny. RIP Elmo.

I have a new clamp meter which will be in some parts of #14 tomorrow, but I got really crappy camera angles on those, you can barely see the numbers. It will be better in #15. Good idea with the unpopped boards
