I got a new ammeter and during these recordings I was still trying to get a good angle with a second camera. It did not work out well for this video, It will be improved in future ones. Bobby the dog is originally controlled by three different whistles, I'm using a frequency generator instead. Sorry for the crappy audio quality on the kangaroo, I accidentally used the wrong mic and had to boost the volume in edit.
Doggy took so much current even after the sound chip lost it's voice, when the gearbox melted leaving just the motor it sounded like a jet engine spooling up. Nice variac pops as always. A couple of analogue meters would work well on the variac - one scaled for 0 to 350v and the other scaled for 0 to 10A.
🥳, but maybe the dog should be disqualified since the gears broke and the motor was running without load.. Still impressing with that voltage tho, most toy motors die much earlier even without load so it probably would have won anyway, but we'll (probably) never know 😂
@@Cskirt That's true! You've got a point there. So mechanically the cat box is still the giga chad haha. What about the Tierlist/Ranking list I mentioned sometime. Or would this be to complicated to set up?
I did a chicken dance Elmo a few days ago actually, it will probably be in the next one. Unfortunately he didn't even survive 30V and was a pain to disassemble... it's a single motor
No, not in the next episode, and yes I remember and I'm watching ebay and all local sites regularly. But it seems I'd have to import it from the US.... That would take up the budget for an entire 8min video so I have to be sure it'd be interesting. Do you know how the mechanism works, is it a single motor running continuously in one direction for the head and the other direction for the arms?
@@Cskirt well idk much about it , but the in the inside the head mechanism is a part which makes the head move, and I.think the same applied with the hands
