watching the floors/roofs get filled in at 1.25 speed was very satisfying lol. The realization of the strategy you were using @ 28 mins was great. Nice use of clipping for the stairs into that area down by the water. I assume the game is on passive? Every time I tried to build anything we get attacked super often.

I can't believe some of the houses you end up building but somehow you get it done. I struggle so badly with figuring out how the framwork should be that all my houses end up being square or rectangle with flat roofs because I still can't figure out how gables work. When you were doing the free building down on the water, I was completely lost wondering what the hell was going on. But seeing the finished design, the free building helped to give it a multi-layered look which is just fantastic with all the planters and the waterfall.
I'm really interested to see what you'll make of the new stone building, even if it is very limited right now.
..just observe what's not working and remember it..then find another way.. for now this game is very buggy thats why the building system of this game is very confusing sometimes it worked sometimes not😅
Us the creative mode and passive mode, experiment in peace and play around with the building mechanics, eventually you'll get the hang of it.

Wonderful, would love this position in real life. You definitely are a creative designer! My base is on the next ledge behind where you are. I’m wondering how you go with those windows? the raccoons here are thieving little buggers they come pushing in through my doors to raid my drying food so mine are small and not many! Anyway great job! 😊

I admire the rendition of famous architect Frank Lloyd wright house above a waterfall. Very impressive.
I hope in future updates they introduce more aesthetics to base design. Can I use my leaves to maybe add a little greenery to the roof or maybe the old school ability to build types of boats like in the first game

The build is gorgeous and i was taking notes throughout to apply some of your strategies to my own build.
But the BIG thing i came in here to say: your editing dude. Really fucking good. I saw those mutant corpses appearing, I KNEW you had to be fighting them off the whole way! But you cut so cleanly to keep the calm vibe. Not just maintaining calm but it felt as if they never stopped you at all. Great skill with the build and great skill with your vid!!

This base is amazing but what really made me happy was watching the npcs, Virginia seems so happy, first youtuber Ive seen not try to kill her
It took me a solid 45 minutes of frustration to figure out you can only place logs on these diagonal logs if there’s a split log between em as a roof or staircase.

Very nice landscape architecture 🙂 though I would’ve made one of the stone fireplaces and definitely a second floor or at least access to the roof with small deck. You skipped defense entirely and went for looks but on this island you’re asking for trouble!
