There is a local cheese plant about 5 mile away that processes around 200 loads of milk a week. The whey has a lot of feed value left in it after the cheese is made. We feed around 30,000 gallons a week. The cows really like it. We have been feeding it for 15 years.

@@adamjacobs8715 We feed a little over 1 gallon per cow per day in our TMR to the milk cows, but are limited with that because of it getting to wet. About a year after we started feeding it in the TMR we tried to free choice it to and the cows really like that.
@@arlofarmsright now I'm putting in 3600 lbs for about 38000 of feed. So not a lot. We use to feed double that when we were getting it for free. We are in northeast WI.
