    I cook them in my cosori 4.7l for my hubby, I heat the oil for 30sec then put the eggs in for 4mins as he likes his firm, just over 3 for mine as I like soft. I don’t have a bottom element in mine.

    Hi Kerry If I want to cook an egg in the air fryer, I use a method I found on you tube. I put some chopped tinned tomatoes in a small Pyrex dish , make a well in the centre and crack the egg in the gap, I sprinkle some grated cheese on the top of the dish ( I suppose you could try it without the cheese) cooked on 190 for up to about 12 mins (check times ). Its delicious with the cheese. You could serve it on toast. Eileen x

    Hello Budget Cook. I enjoyed your cooking technique. I like to share this with you. I was looking on how to cook a whole egg sunny side once over. But then, while I was expirementing, I decided to put the Turboblaze on Broil for 5 mins at 450 F or 225C. and it cooked egg over the italian sliced bread. at first it looked chard, that is the yolk portion, but! when you punctured the yolk, it was nice and runny, not raw but cooked. I thought I share with you. Have a wonderland love. Ciao

    I tried it a couple of months ago in mine. Sprayed it with oil amd let it get to temp and once the egg went in I sprayed the top of the egg with oil. Around 2 minutes with it on 205. Worked a treat. PS. I have the same air fryer. Top machine.

    Great success for a first attempt. ❤ I fry eggs in my Ninja 9in1 on the sear/saute function, only I spray it with Frylight as I don't use oil/fat. Do it exactly the same as if I was using a frying pan. 😊

      It's a pleasure Heather, did it again yesterday (sat breakie full works lol) and found that after popping in the egg direct into the cosori db, I turned off the AF and just left it to cook in the residual heat for a few mins. The longer you leave it the harder the yolk (I like a runny yolk) perfect and so easy. 😀👍💕

    Evening Kerry, I've been "frying" eggs and Tattie scones in my speedi on the "sear/saute" mode and they are the nicest ever. So glad we got the speedi as I've not used my cooker at all for anything now. Great experiment and let others see you can do it. Xxxx Jac ♥️ 💚

    Morning Kerry, another great video. I will be trying that in my Ninja AF300UK it looked lovely. and some helpful comments from your subscribers too.
    I am totally with you on the small kitchen, mine I think looks the same size as yours. I also put my single induction hob on top of the freezer which is a high one, and sometimes I think, as it is a bit too tall for me to grab quickly, I don't use it as much as I could.
    Only room to have on worktops is air fryer, toaster, and kettle, all else in cupboard. Have a good day x

    Hi Kerry, i tried frying an egg in my old air fryer and it always got a skin on top, which i didn't like so i just used to poach them in the microwave as i didn't want to have to clean all the hob down, the cooker hood and the splash back as you know grease goes everywhere and i can't stand a dirty cooker. Well anyway the other week i tried doing one in the cosori after seeing Graham do one. Anyway it came out perfect, no skin on the top, it took about 2 and a half minutes as i like a runny yolk and it's so much easier to clean

    Its nice yours has the bottom element as well! I make the hubby fried eggs in mine but use a lower temp, it does take longer but if I turn it up the edges brown too much and they are too runny. Mine just has the top element, I do love to make the hard "boiled" eggs in it though.

    • @budgetcookinguk
      @budgetcookinguk  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll try a lower temp next time, prefer it runny so was a bit too cooked😃👍💕💕

    The point at which you opened the fryer at 03:39 and the yolk had the white bubbling up through it meant the base of the yolk was setting. You can see that as it's separated from the albumen at 03:49. It's already too late to expect much runniness. Tricky to call, prior to that point, to be honest. Probably should have flipped at 03:00 in the video. Having said all that, personally, I like eggs how yours turned out 😁😁

    • @budgetcookinguk
